Gallup Poll: 46% Say They “Definitely” Won’t Vote For Obama in 2012…

Then again, who are we going to beat him with? Certainly not Huckabee and Romney.
Comments & pings are closed.(Ballot Box) — Forty-six percent won’t vote for Obama, but about the same percentage say the same for Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee.
Forty-six percent of Americans say they definitely won’t vote for President Obama in 2012, but at least as many say the same about Obama’s would-be Republican challengers.
While much has been made about the number of voters who have ruled out voting for Obama, four of the Republicans hoping to unseat the Democratic president face equally strong opposition, according to a USA Today/Gallup Poll released Tuesday.
Forty-five percent of Americans said they would definitely not vote for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R), while 46 percent said they would definitely not vote for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R).
That level of opposition tracks with the 46 percent who said they definitely wouldn’t vote for Obama. But the president enjoys a higher number — 31 percent — who said they will definitely vote for him in 2012.

But just as the owner/ operator of this site pointed out ” he needs a billion dollars and no one on the right can touch him”. I wonder how much of that money will find it’s way into the hands of Acorn like groups and maybe a mansion in brazil.
If we want to take obama down and take America back we have to go after Jarrett she is the brains behind the ears in the obama white house.
We as Conservatives need to start ripping her past apart and expose her lawlessness to the light of day, Doing that.. We will win back the White House and Congress/Senate.
All this shows is that if Trump runs as an Independent, Obama locks up the presidency.
HERMAN CAIN
Any Republican who earned his success and learned his politics in the 20th century is yesterday.
We need someone with charisma and Founding passion. Rubio, Palin, West, Bachman….charisma and passion……forget the lie of not being ready. We thirst for a 100% man or 100% woman with virtue.
I’m willing to bet all 46% are Fox News watch’n white racists!
(I think that % corresponds to the % of white people (crackas) in the U.S.).
Not a single “person of color” is included in that 46%…no Hajis, Blacks, Hispanics, Mexicans, Hispanicans, Indians (dots not feathers) and Indians (feathers not dots).
USA/Galllup poll. It’s a trap!
No one has yet announced on the R side……….I don’t count Paul from the L side (looney tunes) side
The question is:
WTF is wrong with the other 54%?
Allen West, but there are looney leftists and RINO’s who won’t vote for West (and they don’t want Obama either) because they want DEAD unborn children. This is the America we live in now.
I certainly hope that percentage is incorrect. Surely, more of those that voted for him in 08, have got to be against making the same mistake the second time around.
46% is just about the same percentage that didn’t vote for him the first time around. That is not good. That number should be up to 55% by now.
What spell does this “goofball” have on seemingly intelligent voters?
Romney could easily win Independents, which would make him a shoe-in.
Dear smart conservatives – you are screwing up – this isnt an ordinary election – losing means losing America.
Romney could win, leave him alone
WHY isnt Ryan running??????
dont mess up waiting for your ideal – you wont get a second chance
throw away the rules and preferences
just win this next election
the country is at stake
Well I think OxyCon is partially correct: any GOP candidate is going to have to win a big majority of Independents because, iirc, there are more voters registered as Independents than as Republican or Democrat.
I don’t know why he hasn’t been mentioned before, but what’s wrong with Gov. Scott Walker of WI ? I think he’s done a damn fine job of standing up to the Unions and in presenting a budget that will greatly reduce WI debt.
And while I’m at it, how about Paul Ryan? The Progressives are ALREADY after his ass with their faux senior citizens dying or eating catfood cause Ryan wants to voucher Medicare for Seniors, and as long as they are already after him, let’s give him a platform from which to bash the crap outta them. Plus, I’d PAY MONEY to see a Ryan/Obama debate with the moderator only keeping track of time – no questions from the moderator, just the candidates putting forth proposals and repsonding DIRECTLY to their opponent.
Any black man who doesn’t vote for Herman Cain is an Uncle Tom…an Oreo®…a Cracka LapDog. Any white person (read:cracka) who doesn’t vote for Herman Cain is a “straight up racist”…just as Janeane Garafalo pointed out.
Romney/Ryan ********
c’mon folks its the only way to save the country – they can win
dont fuck it up please
Well, let’s see, the muslim or the mormon… gosh what a horrible choice.
Errrmmmm. Was the poll conducted in english and spanish? Just wondering.
@Matt Damon’s Brain
I’m willing to bet Herman Cain and Allen West won’t vote for Obama.
I’d vote for the Cain/West or West/Cain ticket.
Now call me a racist!
Zip said: “Then again, who are we going to beat him with? Certainly not Huckabee and Romney.”
Very true…if either win the GOP nomination, Obama will have a second term and what is most important to me is he will appoint at least two more Supreme Court Justices. If he gets this chance…it’s over for America.
Cain does not have name recognition, Palin I like very much but with all the untrue trash talk she has received since 2008, many people believe what they hear from the MSM. Palin/West cannot win.
“The Donald” is making some waves and his polling numbers are up. He can take the heat and seems unafraid but if he is nominated we may be giving a second term to Obama. I don’t think Trump will run as an independent.
Ryan and Rubio have said they will not run. Christie or DeMint will not run. With all that Obama has done in just over two years one would think that any Republican could easily win but that is not the case.
I would almost take my chances with Trump/West, Palin/West, West/Palin.
Friends…we do have a serious problem.
@Skip
We’ll just have to bring the draft back.
I say we draft DeMint….pair him with Cain or West.
A few other rando thoughts:
I’d be happy with Rubio too.
I don’t think Christie is the answer.
I’d hate to waste Ryan on VP.
Palin may have to run if Rubio or DeMint won’t and I’m ok with that.
Trump may have to if no one else will, and I’m not ok with that.
Who wouldn’t want to see Cain or West debate Biden?

Very true, the way to win is fight fire with fire. Use their beloved Alinsky against them at every turn. Every canidate for office on the right should ignore the MSM and ridicule them when asked question. Laugh at Obama every time he says something – turn him into the fuckng joke that he is.
BetterDeadThanRed says:
I laugh every time Obama says something now!
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!!
Trump is going hard for the GOP nomination,
the independent threat is primarily a shot across the bow of the
Republican old-guard: “Don’t F with me like you did with Palin… or I’ll destroy you”- jmho
@ DisturbedMary,
“We need someone with charisma and Founding passion. Rubio, Palin, West, Bachman….charisma and passion……forget the lie of not being ready. We thirst for a 100% man or 100% woman with virtue.”
My thoughts exactly. American’s hunger and thirst for someone who will stand up for their convictions whether popular or not. We need a commited, conservative, patriotic leader, not an “American Idol”. Let’s hope more voters wake up!
West/Cain/Palin/DeMint/Bachmann – we have the talent. Speak up and people will follow. West and DeMint have both said they would “serve if their country needed them” when asked about running for POTUS. Palin, I hope will through her hat in but not until next year after the hype 3 anti-Palin books due to be released Sept. 11, blows over. Imagine! 3 books criticizing a private citizen. The left really fears her.

It’s not what Obama is doing right, it’s what the GOP is doing so very wrong. They’ve gone very hard right, which plays to the 28% or so that really like that but completely turns off moderates who might otherwise want to vote against the president and energizes liberals who might otherwise be tempted to protest vote against a president who has been center right (yeah I know you don’t believe it but actually look at what he’s done instead of what you think he’s done and it’s true) after campaigning as progressive.
Here we go again. Second and third verse same as the first. The MSM was Obama’s private and public PR manger. They got Obama elected along with the black vote.
They are once again controlling the election process. When you hear and see the names and voices of those who are considered the best possible candidates. When they open their mouths on any issue or issues the media spins 75% negative in response. I see the media as we all now its bias. Turn on cable same thing. The media isnt scared of any repug candidate that has been chosen to be considered a possible candidate.
What you dont see is any media covering a Cain or West. Can anyone explain why?. Could the answer be they are scared of them?
My god Obama was a no body in the beginning We asked once, who and what the hell is the Tea Party? We dont ask that now do we? But does the media still go negative on the Tea Party? Why?
Trump is taking Obama to task and damn its refreshing but what is the media doing? Going negative on Trump? Why? Even some on the right are going negative and so are some pundits. Why? Egoes?Power? Greed?
All I hear from the right is history and civics 101. School is out folks and until you guys chnage you’re ways we as a country are going to get schooled again liberal style.
Pallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn…..
Palin,Palin,Palin,Palin,Palin,Palin,Palin,Palin,Palin,Palin,Palin,
People i’m sorry for being so stuck on this lady, there is no other
in my book that could carry her water…..
Palin/West 2012
OBAMA WHO!
Then again, who are we going to beat him with? Certainly not Huckabee and Romney…or with people like Rick Santorum, Donald Trump, Sarah Palin, Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Chris Christie, Tim Pawlenty, Michele Bachmann, Mitch Daniels, Newt Gingrich or, God help us all, John McCain…
Allen West, Herman Cain, John Bolton, Bobby Jindal, Marco Rubio, those men DO have a chance, a STRONG chance, all we have to do is make sure the GOP/RNC know that this is the last chance we have, if Obama is re-elected, America is OVER…
No, not Huckabee nor Romney nor any of the other possibles. No, not even Herman Cain or Representative West. Not (anymore) Sarah Palin nor Michelle Bachmann nor Santorum. The only one who could beat Obama in 2012 is Chris Christie ansd he’s been adamant that he won’t run. Donald Trump is in cahoots with America’s arch enemy George Soros (from GlennBeck.com). Maybe a surprise conservative super-hero will appear in time. If not, the United States of America will surely be just a memory.
54% brain dead morons. So sad.
Conservatives need to get over bringing knives to gunfights, and soon! This one is going to make the OK Corral look like a sandbox tiff. Cain/West/Palin, it doesn’t much matter which, just do it & appoint the other 2 to cabinet & git ‘er done! If none of the above win, we’re likely toast as a country. Work for the best and prepare -quickly- for the worst…
Half the registered voters in this country don’t bother casting votes anyway. We need some of them to vote R to compensate for vote fraud.
