Rasmussen Poll: Trump 19%, Romney 17%, Huckabee 15%…
Just goes to show how pa-frigging-thetic the GOP field is if Trump (who’s not even a conservative) is leading.
(DC) — Trump leads among Republican primary voters with Romney close behind, according to a national poll released Thursday by Rasmussen. The poll is based on responses of 1,000 likely Republican primary voters nationwide.
Trump gets 19 percent of the vote, Romney gets 17 percent, just edging out Huckabee, who gets 15 percent. The next largest block of voters is those who are not sure — 11 percent.
The Donald does particularly well among self-identified Tea Party members, where he gets 22 percent of the vote, and Romney gets 15 percent.

Here we go again. These polls are all media driven. Looks like the msm is close to making Trump the Republican candidate. If Trump runs for president I will be willing to bet money that the msm backs him. I don’t believe one of these damm polls.

I would take Donald trump over Obama. He has no experience in government but neither did Obama. At least he has business experience. Trump might scare more people away from republicans granting Obama a second term. Damn things are not looking good. Maybe Allen west will run. The debates are going to be telling, and you can be sure the Talking-Head panel that asks the questions are going to go after Trump like we’ve never seen before, on both sides of the aisle.
This is one reason he is climbing in the polls, he takes it right back to the msm, he takes no crap from them, any of them- millions of us have waited for years to see someone do that….in fact all my life.

Trump is not very political.. so he’s not ‘careful’ to appear ‘acceptable’ to his supposed base (conservatives, by default, if he’s targeting Bozo) .. but I have to agree, he loves America, and he’d be a tough negotiator, plus he is pro military and he’d good for America in a lot of ways.
Charles Krauthamer called Trump a ‘joke’ and Trump phoned him … last I heard they were going to meet, Charles acknowledged this … I’ll be interested to see what comes of this meeting.
You have to give Trump props for stepping up and calling Charles .. few would have done so.. and for Charles to acknowledge he has agreed to meet with Trump, indicates that Charles found enough sincerity to think it worthwhile to meet and talk.

No doubt Trump isn’t a conservative..but look at the rest of the present field. That being said Trump managed something that no one else had. He came into it with “nothing to lose” and enough star power, money to get the media’s attention. The fact that he isn’t a politician is what made this possible. I don’t think I could vote for him unless it was him against the imposter. It shouldn’t have to be a lesser of the two evils but meanwhile here on earth we have to deal with the reality that is.
I don’t think everyone has declared yet, but I have to say (sadly) that if these three are the choices, I would have to go with Trump – that’s how much I would not want Romney and most especially fuckabee, I mean Huckabee.

Has any other candidate said that oil should be under $40 dollars, that he will open up Alaska and off shore to drilling, that he will destroy opec, that he will negotiate better concessions from China, that he will give the military the best of equipment, that he loves America and will restore it to the place everyone wants to be, that there is no need to change the entitlements? This man can probably charm the liberals and get them to cooperate to make the world a better place for all. I call myself a conservative, but Trump has said things I can endorse. Sure I like West, Cain, Palin, Bachman, but Trump I think can do. And do not say the government isn’t like business, you can’t fire people…BECAUSE YOU SURE CAN! And did not Truman go bankrupt? Can any one that plays opposite a chimpanzee in B movies, is old, and calls other countries the evil empires be a good president? Did anyone ever have a better resume for the president then Carter? Not so sure it’s the field as much as those choosing from it. Why are over half of the respondants choosing one of those three? If you ask me that’s the truly pa-friggin-thetic revelation in that poll. The whole thing is upside down. All the strongest ones are down at the bottom and the weakest ones at the top.
Trump for President? Please – NO! I’m not sure who has the bigger ego – Donald Trump or Barack Obama. While I think it would be a good idea to have someone in the White House who has a clue when it comes to business, electing someone with a proven track record of business failures is not what first springs to mind. The presidency is NOT a reality TV show.
If the US fails, he can’t simply walk away from it and start another business. What do most people actually know about Trump other than his name? That is the one advantage he has over those at the bottom of the list, which others know as much about as they do him, but don’t even know who they are.

Of the 3 mentioned here, Trump will not run and that leaves 2 of the worse possible candidates, the miserable Mitt and the Huckster! Neither worth a bucket of spit. Give me Cain, Palin, Pence or someone similar.
