Syrian Muslim Brotherhood Calls For “Day of Rage” Against Assad Regime…

Here we go.

BEIRUT (AP) — The banned Muslim Brotherhood urged Syrians to take to the streets on Friday as activists called for a “Day of Rage” against President Bashar Assad’s regime, which has stepped up its deadly crackdown on protesters by unleashing the army along with snipers and tanks.

The government warned against holding any demonstrations. Syrian state television said the Interior Ministry has not approved any “march, demonstration or sit-in” and that such rallies seek only to harm Syria’s security and stability.

Activists in Syria are planning nationwide protests following Muslim prayers in solidarity with more than 50 people killed in the last week alone in Daraa, a southern city at the heart of the revolt.

Since the uprising in Syria began in mid-March, inspired by revolts across the Arab world, more than 450 people have been killed nationwide, activists say.

Friday’s statement by the Muslim Brotherhood was the first time the outlawed group has openly encouraged the protests in Syria. The Brotherhood was crushed by Assad’s father, Hafez, after staging an uprising against his regime in 1982.

“You were born free so don’t let a tyrant enslave you,” said the statement, issued by the Brotherhood’s exiled leadership.

Who but Muslims would want to call for a day of RAGE? Religion of peace or religion of SUBMISSION?

Normally one might say, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” This is not one of those times. The Muslim Brotherhood taking over in countries such as Egypt (while certainly not an ally, was not an active enemy either), and Syria (an enemy, but a well-contained and fairly benign one) will be the defining characteristic of Pres Obama’s foreign policy. That, and in many ways, he pretty much did what he railed against Pres Bush for doing for 8 years (Gitmo, Patriot Act, Rendition, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc). It will be neck and neck between he and Carter for the “Worst President in History” crown. I can’t wait for that debate!!

Can I ask a serious question? It seems like Muslims are always out protesting. How do they earn money? Don’t they have jobs to go to and families to support? Who has time to do that much protesting?

    America’s economic recovery plan

    1. Sell small arms and ammuntion to both sides
    2. whenever one side seems to be getting the upper hand
send in the jets via UN mission bomb them back down
    3. go back to step one.

Do it and I hope some tanks and shells take must of you worthless piece of shit muslim out.. less for us to worry about coming to America and trying to kill us.

Please rage till your hearts content and then die slowly and painfully.
maybe if enough of them die the woman and young girls will have a better life.

Why do all these groups who swear they have no contact with Marxists seem to choose the same name for their demonstrations?

Just a reminder, The ‘Days of Rage’ was a term created by Weather Underground leader, Bill Ayers, for the 1968 actions he took.

Now used in Egypt, Jordan (didn’t seem to work too well), Tunisia, Yemen, and ….still counting……

    There. That ought to help.

As I observe all these Muslim Dictatorships that Obama (and our Congress) are overthrowing and handing over to the Muslim Brotherhood, it’s almost like Obama (and possibly our Congress) has made a secret deal with the Muslim Brotherhood to assist them to establish these (Muslim Brotherhood) Islamic States. It makes me wonder what the Muslim Brotherhood has promised the men in power in our Nation? Cheap Oil? (The Muslim Brotherhood will not keep their word if this is the case!!) That’s the only answer I can come up with. Is that why they are letting these savage followers of Mohammad to immigrate (legally and illegally) into our Nation as well? It’s the only thing, as crazy as it sounds, that makes sense, that our treacherous politicians have made a secret deal involving (money or) oil to do this.

It’s the same scene decade after decade. It seems unimaginable to me that country after country is filled with these millions of angry males with nothing to do in the middle of the day but rage and protest, day after day, year after year. Doesn’t any one of them have any responsibilities? A job? A life? Somewhere else to be? What f-ing economy do they live in where they are free to spent all the days of the week apparently doing nothing.

How does Hamas fit in this I wonder? They are extremely close with both Assad and the Muslim Brotherhood. They were actually formed by the Brotherhood but have been protected by Assad from Israeli assassination for decades. Guess they will just sit this one out?
