Unions Planning Nationwide Protests on Socialist Holiday…

Commie scum.

(The Nation) — In light of efforts to strip public employees of collective bargaining in Wisconsin and the anti-union bills introduced in at least twelve states, planned May Day protests have taken on a new, more significant meaning this year. Events will focus on the customary issues of workers’ and immigrants’ rights, but also collective bargaining, and budget and pension cuts that affect not just the working class but their families and communities, as well.

Downtown Los Angeles will be filled with protesters this Sunday in what has become an annual pro-immigration reform march. California is known for its legendary May Day protests. In 2006, a quarter of a million people poured into the streets of San Jose in what is known as the largest political demonstration in Northern California history. That year, the protest was centered on the Illegal Immigration Control Act, which would have criminalized undocumented immigrants. The protest effectively stopped the bill in is tracks, according to Mercury News.

This year, activists will be calling on President Obama to stop deportations and provide “legalization or no re-election,” says Celina Benitez of Southern California Immigration Coalition. SCIC is also protesting in solidarity of all workers’ rights to organize.

Wisconsin’s May Day march will of course be focused on union busting, but also keeping in-state tuition for immigrant students, opposing Arizona-type legislation that targets immigrants, and preventing budget cuts.

The event is sponsored by the immigrant rights organization Voces de la Frontera with support and mobilization efforts coming from a variety of unions, including: Wisconsin’s AFL-CIO, the American Federation of Teachers Local 212, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) in Wisconsin, the Painters and Allied Trades Local 781, Service Employees Local 1, and more unions.

Let us not forget that Cinco De Mayo is rapidly approaching, and all the illegal alien apologists will be out in full force waving their Mexican flags, and attacking anyone who dare oppose them…

No surprise the Bolsheviks of old came from the Russian labor unions. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

The article makes it sound as though California has been conquered with the rest of the Union to go.

I just love the heavy use of “undocumented immigrants”…but even moreso, I like the phrase “immigrants rights”. Huh, I thought immigrants had the same rights as any new or old American….oops, silly me, they mean ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS! You ain’t got no rights in my book in that case.

    May Day – Wikipedia

May Day occurs on May 1 and refers to several public holidays.[1] In many countries, May Day is synonymous with International Workers’ Day, or Labour Day, a day of political demonstrations and celebrations organised by unions, communists, anarchists, socialists, and activist groups. May Day is also a traditional holiday in many cultures.
    .
    .
    .
With the idea having spread around the world, the choice of May 1st became a commemoration by the Second International for the people involved in the 1886 Haymarket affair.[5]

The Haymarket affair occurred during the course of a three-day general strike in Chicago, Illinois, United States that involved common laborers, artisans, merchants, and immigrants.

    ———-

The ‘Haymarket Affair’ is the Chicago event in which 8 police officers were shot to death by “UNARMED PROTESTERS”. (Lying Communists)

No, this wasn’t a “Socialist” holiday. This is a full blown USSR Moscow COMMUNIST holiday. The fucking Soviet military goose stepped down the street in front of the Soviet Dictator. It was a parade to show off the fucking Soviet military hardware. Unions be lovin them some COMMUNISTS. Makes me sick to stomach that they would march or celebrate a day having to do with former and EVIL USSR. Fuck the Unions!

The Russian ‘Soviet Union’ was created by giving real political power to workers councils (labor union).

The Russian word for a ‘workers council’ is ‘soviet’. The Soviet Union was quite literally, a union of unions.

Modern socialist are creating an equivalent of ‘labor identity group’ by creating race-based identity groups. These special interest groups will be the core of their movement. The new face of International Socialism with be an Multicultural Union.

The individual members, the citizens themselves, are still meaningless. They have no value other than what their ‘union’ grants them.

AFL-CIO, NAACP, La Raza, GLAAD, et., etc. There is a political purpose for empowering these special interest groups. (“to control the means of production”)

Adolph Hitler, the one time leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazi), was also fond of this technique of creating ‘race-based’ interest groups.

    May Day
The month of May is dedicated to Mary, an appropriate time of year, since so many plants are in blossom. It is a more Christianized focus for the first of May, such as Catholics wearing blossoms in honor of Mary.

    Not everything is political/socialist/communist

Oh how stupid of us. Here we thought the Unions selected “May Day” because that was the holiday for the “Workers” of the old USSR. But thank goodness you came along and enlightened all of us about Catholicism.

That’s right. And Mary is considered the archenemy of evil in the world. While the commies protest, I’ll say a few Hail Mary’s to unravel union membership and give enlightenment to the rank and file. (The leadership is too far gone. That would require St. Jude’s help.)

The turnout will be low. The left is a loud but small group of crybabies. The majority of Americans know ,albeit late what the Demarxist party and unions are. When Obama goes home next year, the left will go crazy demanding recounts and crying about racists. The rest of us will be doing what we always do, work, family and paying taxes to support others.

No, they were not shot to death. They were killed by a thrown bomb.

Several of the men arrested for this crime were hanged. One committed suicide by biting down on a blasting cap while in jail. Several were imprisoned, and were later pardoned by Illinois governor John Peter Altgeld, who did so knowing that the pardons would end his political career.

There is substantial doubt that the men arrested and convicted were, in fact, responsible for or in any way connected to the bomb that was thrown, but they were prominent in the Chicago labor movement of that day.

It amazes me just how successful the agitprop of the cold war was that now long after the lies have been disproven about the red menace we supposedly fought against and the “great game” was revealed to be nothing more than scheme for the two dominant superpowers to divvy up the world’s resources, still there are people who foam at the mouth at the word communist.

It’s sort of startling just how susceptible some are to brainwashing couched in jingoism and paranoia.

Actually it would seem most of the cops died due to friendly fire after the bomb exploded.

So Stalin didn’t kill millions of his own people…

………. under the banner of communism.

Chairman Mao, another communist, killed millions of his own people too…

    Then there’s Pol Pot, a communist murderer…

“Mayday” is also a plea for help (esp in regard to aviation). I believe it is derived from the French “M’aidez” (“Help me”).

So whether you’re thinking of the Blessed Mother (“Pray for us sinners now…”), or of aviators in danger of crash-and-burn, or of those delightful goose-steppers of fascist states, May 1st is for ALL of you…

(And speaking of labor unions, Samuel Gompers told us the full truth long, long ago: after one strike, when management had capitulated but the strikers had not returned to their jobs, he was asked what else they could possibly want. “More,” was all he said.)

Stalin killed lots of people but he was a dictator not a communist (using the banner is not the same as actually being the thing). Mao killed a lot of his countrymen and was a communist, although the typical numbers quoted (in the millions) are vastly inflated by attributing the deaths due to famine to him personally. His “great leap forward” was badly planned and came during a period of terrible weather but it wasn’t malicious. Pol Pot was a monster by any standard but for every Pol Pot there’s a Saddam Hussein (remember he was our guy that we put in power and armed). If you want to add up historical monsters there’s plenty on both sides of the cold war.
