I understand that this dinner is an annual event, blah, blah, blah, and that all the players attend this event in good faith, blah, blah, blah. However, since the US faces the brink of total economic collapse — primarily because of Obama — I cannot understand how any Republican, or any country-loving American for that matter, could sit in the same room with this man and laugh with him. It’s disgusting.

No real journalist, conservative, or lover of this country of any political stripe could have attended this human sewage pond of an event in good conscience. It would be consorting with the enemy. I watched some of this last nite. unwillingly. Granted I NEVER watch this WH Correspondents dinner for obvious reasons. I hold them in contempt. But I gotta ask. WHAT is the purpose in this gathering? Is it NOT beneath contempt and definitely beneath the dignity of a sitting president and other elected officials. I don’t find it funny that a sitting president takes the opportunity to attempt to publicly humiliate his ‘enemies’. I had a feeling of uneasiness throughout what i watched.
True, there isn’t a shred of dignity in Obama so he fit in wonderfully. Britain recognizes that. And the rest of he world seems to be coming around. I’m embarrassed at this purchaser of the White House.

He’s not funny, his jokes aren’t funny, and like so many of his other personality traits, his comedic timing totally sucks. He possesses neither comedic nor acceptable political timing.
When will Obama’s political enemies learn that the invitations to such events come only so that Obama can publicly humiliate and denigrate them? This is what losers do; they humiliate others because it, pathologically, makes them feel good about themselves. It’s a clinical psychopathology.
Paul Ryan, with good intentions, got suckered into attending the budget speech, and Trump should be embarrassed because he got suckered AFTER witnessing what happened to Paul Ryan. Barack Obama is a loser of the highest order and instead of sharing a meal with him and his ilk, we should be politically steamrolling right over these idiots.

I think this is a valuable lesson for all of Obama Fat-Cat allies to see. This same fate will greet them if they get out of line. This is how a Thug-ocracy works.
Even the close allies of a tyrant must fear him. While the rewards are great as long as you are in the good graces of a tyrant, the punishment is severe and swift for those who don’t. Donald Trump was excited at first about the prospects of Hope & Change. But when he found himself outside the ‘preference loop’, his tune changed.

Any Republican would be better than more of what were have had with Obama. Rubio, Ryan, DeMint, West and Christie will not run. Right now we have Romney, Huckabee, Palin, Bachmann, Trump.
Who of the above can win over Obama? I would take my chances with “The Donald” as president rather than two terms of the Obama regime.
