Today the people of Joplin, Missouri woke up to complete devastation, at least 89 people there were killed.
The Tourist-in-Chief and Queen Michelle photographed boozing it up in Ireland.

For you liberals, in-betweeners, or thinking about sitting out the elections in 2012, think about this, if Obama cannot be faithful to our allies, he sure as hell is not going to give a farthing about American citizens. And visa versa. After each natural disaster Obama and his Regime have been MIA when it comes to showing any love or compassion for our citizenry. So what makes any voter think during this next campaign season any of his claims to improve financial, or economic suffering for Americans will have any ring of truth to it? For the love of heaven the man and his czars cannot show one microscopic shred of evidence he sympathizes with the people of this nation suffering due to fires, floods, ice storms, hurricanes, oil spills, tornadoes, terrorists attacks on our military members, etc. But he is Johnny on the Spot when it comes to anything having to do with race or Muslim outreach! He knew nothing about the entire Cambridge situation, but made an instantaneous comment. I would love to see a time comparison to Obama’s response to the Gates deal in Cambridge compared to any response to the natural disasters which have occurred since his coronation. Dittos to how long it took him to directly comment on the attack upon Fort Hood.
Being here in Missouri, we all need prayers and help for the people who lost everything.

On a separate note, people, if you do not get prepared for whatever, you are going to be shit out of luck. (See Zip’s advertisers for resources). The flooding and tornadoes have hit farm lands in a major way, (in our area, flooding will not go down until JULY!), and more importantly, being prepared, or having extra on hand allows you to do something great for fellow Americans in desperate need for aid. Please consider making sure you have supplies on hand for your family and others like those in Joplin who are going to need a ton of help. Many an aid group like the Red Cross and Salvation Army are stretched thin. The world is on fire, natural disasters are off the charts, and we the regular folks need to step in the gap here at home.

Missouri has been very hard hit by storms this Spring. Between North St. Louis and Joplin, we’ve seen tremendous devastation both in loss of property and now loss of lives. It is great to see how our communities support each other, because it is painfully obvious our Dipshit-in-Chief doesn’t. The ego he has is stunning.
He isn’t exactly ignoring Missouri. Maybe it isn’t enough, but he is sending FEMA and has spoken to the Missouri Governor.

Living in Spfd. MO, I can tell you Obummer has been mentioned on the news.
One third of town is gone. Large regional hospital demolished. Patients being moved to other area hospitals. (We are lucky to have a good system of hospitals here). Rain still currently falling, fear of drowning trapped survivors. We have sent fire rescue squads and police crews with cars to control traffic, etc. National Guard activated, engineers. Contact Red Cross in Spfd. MO (coordination center) to help. Voulenteers are needed in Joplin they coordinated from Missouri Southern College and Leggett and Platt.

Any president, once started on an overseas trip which has been planned for months in advance, would not just drop everything to rush to wherever the latest natural disaster had just occurred. There are governmental systems already in place [FEMA] which are responding to this disaster per protocol, and the administration has been in touch with the necessary local and state authorities. Is the President of the United States supposed to personally visit every landslide, flood, forest fire, tornado, earthquake, etc. immediately after they happen? You bash Obama for a lot of things, and rightly so, but this one doesn’t wash.

I disagree with you! barry has ignored Iowa floods,Nashville floods, most of the gulf damaged by the spill, Texas fires (refused $$ for aid), and just about any other disaster that has happen to USA citizens!! Unless it’s a convenient photo-op!
Meanwhile he travels the world on our dime, bowing and kissing our enemies asses and giving THEM billions in aid at America’s expense!
Even if as you say, he can’t go to every disaster (which I disagree with you on, since is able golf,fly to Chi-town for a b-ball game,tie up NYC for date nite), he could give one of his “shout outs” to the people in the disaster zones! I live about 2 hrs away from Joplin and a good friend works for the 911 system down there. All I can say is the people of Joplin will recover with or without the asshole in the WH. People in Missouri will help eachother

My dad was born in Joplin and these tornado storms are why he never returned after college. A lot of good people live there, my heart goes out to them as they work hard to reconcile their losses.
