Iranian Intelligence Minister: “The Future of the World Belongs to Islam”…
In Europe’s case he’s probably correct, America, not so much.
(PressTV) – Iranian Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi says the recent developments in the region are a prelude for Islam to prevail in the international arena.
“The recent events … show that the future of the world, including [that of] the US and Europe, belongs to Islam,” IRNA quoted Moslehi as saying at a conference in the central Iranian city of Karaj on Thursday.
The intelligence minister pointed to the recent popular revolutions in Egypt, Tunisia and Yemen and other anti-government uprisings across the Arab world and argued that all of these movements are of Islamic nature, inspired by the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
Moslehi referred to the West’s “confusion” over the wave of the Islamic awakening, saying Western countries try to attribute the movements to “non-Islamic” roots.
The recent visits by US President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to different parts of the world, particularly to the Middle Eastern countries, are aimed at “preventing further losses to the US interests in the region,” he added.

I very much suspect he is right. I have just finished reading a horror story, one of the most gruesome things I have ever read. The UN statistics and projections of world population. Here are some of those figures, the numbers are for 1950, 2000 and projected 2050 populations in millions:
Pakistan 39.7 142.6 348.7
Bangladesh 41.8 137.9 254.6
Iran 16.9 66.4 105.5
Throughout history, when a tribe has grown beyond its territories, there are only two solutions, war and conquest of new lands or starvation and death.
The half century between 1950-2000 has seen the largest population growth in history, I went through the list to see if my theory that massive growth causes instability might has any basis. Here is a list of African and Asian countries that have quadrupled their populations in that time:
Comores, Congo, Kenya, Niger, Uganda, Somalia, Zimbabwe
Iran, Iraq, Lybia, Syria, Yemen.
The best example is the 800,000 “Palestinian refugees” who now number over 4 million. That’s five-fold.
The countries that have only tripled their populations in that time, such as Egypt, Lebanon, Pakistan , Bangladesh, Turkey are all almost as bad.
What the whole world seems to be forgetting is that none of these countries have the resources, infrastructure or agricultural to support their existing population, let alone any massive increase. They have no option but to flee, and it is at present only the West that does not shoot illegal border crossers on sight.
