The Terminator ran on the ticket in California touting himself as a “fiscal conservative”, boy did that disappear fast when he tried to confront the state employees unions, after that he acted more like a Kennedy and his poll ratings tanked to 25percent. And yet California voters elected a liberal who not only created huge deficits for the state (claims he didn’t)but is responsible for allowing state employees to unionize in the 70s’. Now these unions are what is breaking the state with their unsustainable salaries and benefits far beyond the average private sector jobs.
Uygur is all over the map on his politics. He started out as a moderate Republican but ended up going liberal left over the years saying he voted for Obama and will vote for him again in 2012 while referring to Obama as a lunatic—can’t figure? This guy is definitely a camelion on too many issues.
No he is not a fiscal conservative by any stretch of the imagination.
All liberals are fiscal conservatives, but only with their own money. Everyone else’s should be redistributed. Liberals feel like they deserve to keep their money because they “earned” it but everyone else cheated, lied, or inherited their money so they have no right to keep it.

I’m Laughing my Ass off writing this because the ONLY reason why , I saw the same thing , What the hell is a Cenk Uygur ? You don’t have to even read the story as long as you see MSNBC in the title you already know it’s a wast of precious time reading it.
The definition of a fiscal conservative is someone that wants to balance the spending budget. It seems people forget that this is an income versus spending issue, not just a spending issue. Taxes are at the lowest level they have been in decades, and people act like if Obama RAISED taxes to the Reagan levels, the world would collapse. So of course we have a budget problem with so little income. So, Cenk is a fiscal conservative that wants to balance the budget by raising taxes to healthy levels and doing budget cuts as well. He may not agree with you on where these cuts should take place, but he does support cuts.
