Maybe I’m missing something, but isn’t school out for the summer everywhere in the U.S. right now? It’s not as if Alaska is in the southern hemisphere or something.
Oh, wait, I forgot: Sullivan doesn’t have kids, does he? Guess that would explain why he didn’t pick up on the end of the school year thingy.
Considering the reactions to children (or even the thought of them) by many on the left, (Wonkettes, Rosie and her blood thirsty producer, NOW, etc) what Sullivan was probably thinking was something like, “there’s another one the abortion doctors missed”.
Of course, after the brouhaha which ensued after Wonkette’s demonstration of undisguised leftist values and civility, he didn’t dare say it. And compelled (actually salivating) to find something, anything, critical of the presence of Palin children, he lost any sense of time and space.

Palin is a Dominionist, they home school their kids to protect them from the “Secular Humanists”. by the way there are really only 5000 “Secular Humanists” on earth, most in England.. their quarterly publication subscription is a weapon 1200 members.

I had those Dominionistas living under my bed and in my closet when I was a kid. The ones under my bed were the most horrifying because I knew that if my foot or hand somehow hung over the edge of the bed, those radical Christians would grab it and do horrible things to me. Daddy would come in and check under my bed and in my closet to assure me there was nothing there that should not be, but I knew they had some mystical ability to disguise themselves as a coat or a toy and fooled my Dad, but I was the only one on to them. I knew once the light was off, they would be back to get me.
We have so many REAL threats to deal with. Why don’t you expend your energies looking at them instead of crap generated by the tin foil hat wearers to discredit Christians?
BTW, I think Piper shoulder checking that reporter was one of the best things I have seen in a long time. For safety sake, I am sure Sarah cautioned her about getting too close though, because it could have been someone who wanted to do more than just ask questions.

This morning I was watching CBS news here in the NYC area, and they stopped the news to report that Palin had gotten a fact ‘wrong’ about Paul Revere.

At the end of the day, he warned everyone that the Brits were on the way and that sent a message to King George that the colonists were going to stand up for themselves. It was probably hot, and she’s been on the go for how long? Give it a rest. She didn’t even tell you about where and when she was going to appear, so why are you hounding HER? She’s not even running at this point!
Newsflash: There’s a president in the White house who hasn’t submitted a budget, who’s gotten us into an extended obligation in Libya (what happens when Gadaffi goes? What will we owe Libya? Has the even been discussed, or asked? If were going to bomb the dictator, don’t we owe the country something in the way of support when he’s gone, WHAT EXACTLY WILL WE OWE THEM, should he be killed?? HAS ANYONE ASKED??? My now grown sons were born and raised in Alaska (North Pole/Fairbanks). And i believe just living there tends to make kids mature earlier than they would in a place where life is really easy and predictable.
