Dem Strategist James Carville Warns Civil Unrest “Imminently Possible” If Obama Doesn’t Start Producing Jobs…

You know it’s bad when even Gollum is ringing the alarm bells.

(Daily Caller) – Who ever thought the saying, “It’s the economy stupid” from James Carville in 1992 would become a staple in presidential elections 20 years later?

That expression made its way into the campaign in 2008 and according to Carville it could be theme of the 2012 campaign as well as President Barack Obama seeks reelection. In an appearance Monday’s “Imus in the Morning” on the Fox Business Network, the former Clinton adviser said if improvements weren’t made in gains in the unemployment picture based on the May jobs number, it could be a rough road for the president.

“[L]ook, I don’t think anybody — if 54,000 new jobs is the new standard, it’s going to be a very, very rough 2012 for President Obama,” Carville said. “But three-month average was 160,000. If that is the case, then he will do OK. I can’t tell you what will happen. But yes, if this, if this last jobs number is an indication of future job numbers, it’s going to be very, very rough.”

…“It is going to be very difficult,” Carville said. “But the country, if that is what we are doing, this is gruesome on people. This unemployment rate for this long is humanitarian crisis of the first magnitude. This financial crisis, people have studied this by the way, they know that the things take this long to work their way through. The aftermath of these things — kind of an academic book that is dry entitled ‘This Time is Different.’ What it concluded it is not different this time. They studied it, the aftermath of the financial crisis. What we are going through is imminently predictable. But this is a terrible thing that has happened to people’s lives. I think the president at one level understands that, you know. But he is limited in what he can do. So we’ll just have to see. But it’s going to be hard. If 54,000 jobs is the new norm – this is going to be very, very tough. Some people say it just might be one more thing. We don’t know.”

Thought all you proglodytes wanted it this way, Serpent Head. You remember, don’t you? Cloward-Piven. Talk to Van Jones. He’ll refresh your memory about riots in the street and HOW to foster them.

I don’t think it’s imminent. I think it’s going to take a little bit more to get people even into the streets peacefully. Right now, the majority still have a couch, beer, TV and a roof over their heads.

Is ole serpent head trying to foment civil unrest in certain communities? Has he put the word out on any social networking site? Seems to be SOP with the commies as of late.

As much as Carville plays the fool, he isn’t. He’s got the act down pat though. If I were ‘Bam I’d leave the immigration issue alone with all the out of work blacks in the inner cities. That’s the only trigger I can see leading to chaos.

ironmaiden is right though, most every one else that – should be worrying has their “couch, beer, TV and a roof over their heads.”

Enact universal workplace enforcement of identification to expel the 8 million illegal alien workers (according to Pew Hispanic in 2008), which would open up employment for a lot of citizens.

I find it humorous that these progressive libtards that espouse civil unrest think that they themselves would not be the very first and foremost targets of an unleashed middle class populous that has had their lives and their earnings regulated away from them by these very scoundrels…

“You know it’s bad when even Gollum is ringing the alarm bells.” ZIP, that is just too funny.

He wants the precious. Always he is looking for it. And the precious is wanting to go back to him. But we mustn’t let him haves it.

All the Government has to do to create millions of job openings is to mandate the use of E-Verify and enforce our EXISTING immigration laws!

Can you imagine how many millions of jobs would suddenly be availible if everybody who is working here illegally suddenly got fired?

We might even have a couple of million jobs left over for LEGAL immigrants!

    Bless his heart.

Its ironic that he calls our current condition a “humanitarian crisis of the first magnitude.” He frames the economy as a tsunami. Its as if we just buy enough fema trailers we can fix this. I dont know if I should be happy Carville can see the obvious. Their only tools do not fix economies… I pray they will be content to pretend to fix it.

Widespread civil unrest – is unlikely, because those capable of it, are aware of its risks. Manufactured civil unrest – cannot be ruled out, and should therefore be a concern for all observant citizens.

I don’t think it will make it to civil unrest. I think the hammer is getting ready to fall on the crooks in office all by itself.
If anything, the alleged FEMA camps will house the first collection of 535 members instantly.
The rats are going to start jumping ship and whistle blowers are getting ready to dump the big one.
The banks are getting ready to fry too.
