DNC Chief Wasserman Schultz: GOP Wants To Bring Back Racist “Jim Crow” Laws…
Damn, she almost makes Pelosi look reasonable.
(Politico) — Raising the rhetorical stakes around local battles over voting laws, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz yesterday compared Republican efforts to tighten access to the polls to notorious segregation-era Jim Crow laws.
Roland Martin asked Wasserman Schutlz about the laws in an interview on the African-American network TV One’s “Washington Watch” program, according to a transcript from the network:
[I]f you go back to the year 2000, when we had an obvious disaster and – and saw that our voting process needed refinement, and we did that in the America Votes Act and made sure that we could iron out those kinks, now you have the Republicans, who want to literally drag us all the way back to Jim Crow laws and literally – and very transparently – block access to the polls to voters who are more likely to vote Democratic candidates than Republican candidates. And it’s nothing short of that blatant.

A) Jim Crow laws were a creation of the Democrats’ backlash against Reconstruction.
B) Blocking voters who are not properly registered, and ensuring that the person voting in a given name is, in fact, that person—which photo IDs would do—is not “blocking votes,” but blocking vote fraud.
Wassermann-Schultz is not arguing for voting rights, but arguing for vote fraud.
Why is it that in EVERY picture I see of this woman, she’s sneering? She doesn’t have the brains God gave a hamster.

I wore braces for two years.
I never got pain meds. Though I surely could have used them. It’s a painful process, and I still sometimes have dreams about what it felt like after getting them tightened: every tooth in your mouth is loose for a couple of days, very disconcerting.
That being said, and I know I said I don’t like attacking someone on the basis of looks, but surely Debbie has realized, she is in the public eye, might it not be advantageous to get Invisalign? I’m sure she can afford it, and you know that Congresscritters must have Cadillac health and dental plans.
