Fox News Poll: Giuliani Does Best Against Obama In Head-To-Head Matchup…

Via Fox News:

. . . In hypothetical matchups, Obama tops each of the Republican hopefuls tested. In fact, none of the candidates who were pitted against the president match the 49 percent the “someone else” opponent receives in the generic re-elect Obama question.

Giuliani and Romney perform best against the president, keeping Obama’s edge to single digits. Obama tops Giuliani by 4 percentage points and Romney by 7 points.

In each of the hypothetical contests, Giuliani garners more support from independents and those who consider themselves to be part of the Tea Party movement than any other Republican.

Romney officially announced his candidacy last week in New Hampshire, while Giuliani is still considering a second bid.

Obama has a 19-point advantage over Gingrich, and bests Pawlenty by 18 points.

The president has the largest edge — 21 points — over Palin. In fact, about one Republican in five says they would back Obama over Palin (21 percent).

FOX News polls are about as reliable as any other Libtard polling.
They still think that O’Reilly is important, and routinely have Karl Rove, Alan Colmes, Juan Williams and other Libtard clowns on the tube.
They are pushing a “Mainstream”, middle of the road candidate, when they know full well that the majority of Conservatives and Republicans want a true Conservative.

I need to know more about his stance on ILLEGAL immigration and if he will close the borders and deport ILLEGALS.

Interesting that Rudy does that well. Ill be interested to see confirming polls and to see if he fades like last time or if he gets his game going.

He may be the first declared guy to appeal to more than one faction or another.

    Are you kidding?

At best Giuliani has proven to be a notoriously unpredictable and inconsistent candidate.

    Come on already!

Giuliani as Veep, but not Prez. He just doesn’t have the bite and is a RINO outside of law enforcement.

1 in 5 Repubs would vote for O’Soros over Palin? I call BS.

True, true, and all true. But I’d still vote for him before Romney and I’ll vote for ANYBODY against our first punk prez.

Rudy the RINO? NOW WAY. There’s the cheating on your wife for starters. But, even worse, you are the reason why hillary was elected to the Senate. Your inflated ego kept you in the race long after it was apparent your indiscretions would harm your chances. Lazio (Lazlo?) did not have enough time to mount a credible campaign and as a result, hillary won.

“In fact, about one Republican in five says they would back Obama over Palin (21 percent)”. Congratulations Fox News, you are officially a member of the mainstream media dispensing the same kind of odious propaganda as ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN. Anyone who votes for Obuttma is not a Republican. Period. Why the relentless bashing of Palin? I am not a rabid supporter of her but by God she would make a much, much better president than that half baked communist dictator, Obuttma. This poll is nonsense.

@Rufus: Dead on discription of what Fox News has morphed into. At one time it used to be a reliable news source. It has been corrupted by the ruling class culture and has now made the mistake of trying to be liked by the commiecrats. The dispicable commiecrats, like Beckel, Williams, Rangel for god’s sake!, Fox News has on non-stop has made it unwatchable.

    Allen West for President!

Rudy led in ’07 too, by the time 08 rolled around he already bottomed out. He lost to McCain, Huckabee & Romney proving this poll worthless.
You can tell who the Left want to run against when they say tout how formidable their opponent is.
In years passed, Rudy endorsed a radical liberal Democrat–Mario Cuomo–over Cuomo’s Repub opponent–who won.

Since when is a supporter of gay rights, big government, anti-gun advocate considered a Conservative? Giuliani is partner in an Arab law firm . . .not interested in compromised loyalties.

If I remember correctly Rudy was the only one who could beat Hillary; he didn’t make it out of the starting gate and she was defeated by Obama.

Further; did not Fox News just spend the last two weeks dictating that Michelle Bachman was next in line?

Something strange is happening with Fox News.

In any case; beware the commentary about mythical independent voters

    http://www.salon.com/news/politics/war_room/2010/11/04/5_million_swing_voters

“Truly independent voters are still mythical creatures. They exist in the imaginations of commentators who’ve spent most of their adult lives in Washington, D.C. Otherwise, the electorate is largely made up of Democratic voters and Republican voters. In this last election, more Republican voters showed up than Democratic voters. In 2008, the opposite was true.”

All elections come down to this first rule:

THE CANDIDATE WHO WINS IS THE CANDIDATE WHO GETS OUT THE VOTE!

Fox News has been taken over by Murdoch’s son who is very much Left of his father, a real Lib & anti-Israel…the whole Lib agenda. In this push poll, Palin is sidetracked bc/ if she got the nomination she would indeed beat Obama. The Libs want an establishment candidte like Romney bc/ Obama can beat him. The Beltway boys are scared to death of Palin bc/ it puts them out of the loop & they would rather Obama win & wait for Jeb Bush in 2016, if Romney doesn’t take it. These push polls are meant to demoralize the voter away from Palin even though there is no substance behind them…again we get the media or the GOP RINOS trying to manipulate We the People & dictate who we vote for. When Palin announces, she’ll run w/ it.

On his GBTV preview last night he even showed a “Spooky Dude”

“In fact, about one Republican in five says they would back Obama over Palin (21 percent)”. – one word: BULLSHIT

Considering I personally know a libtard registered as Republican just so he can vote in the Republican primaries, as he says, I refuse to believe a real Republican would vote for obamao. Secondly, I still have not seen where Palin has LOST any voters since the prior election and has in fact GAINED voters. She will beat obamao I am sure.

And lastly, Rudy – please go away. You were great on most law enforcment in NY City, but I still can’t bleach my mind free of seeing you march with the disgusting homo-parade in Manhattan and ordering the police to leave them alone – even when they did disgusting things in front of and to your very own police officers in public.
