Bachmann On Obama: “He Fears Me”…
Then again, Obama’s afraid of his own shadow.
(Ballot Box) — President Obama “fears” Republican Michele Bachmann’s presidential campaign, the Minnesota congresswoman said Monday night.
Bachmann, the newly-minted candidate for the GOP presidential nomination, pointed to the president’s reelection office’s attack against her campaign launch in Iowa today as evidence of their trepidation
“I think clearly what this demonstrates is that the president of the United States is afraid of my candidacy,” Bachmann said on Fox News. “He fears me.”
Obama campaign press secretary Ben LaBolt slammed Bachmann in a statement, saying that her policies “would erode the path to prosperity for middle class families.”
LaBolt went on to criticize Bachmann as a candidate of tax cuts for the wealthy, undoing Medicare, and for repealing Wall Street reforms and maintaining loopholes for oil and gas companies.

Perhaps he does fear her personally– but I would suggest to Rep. Bachmann and the other candidates to conduct themselves the way Reagan would have– he shot down the Dems back in the day, without even mentioning any one of them by name– he just simply stated what their policies and voting records on issues were of that time, and let the voters intelligently conclude who he was referring to. It worked, every time he did it. The closest he came to singling out his opponent was in the famous 1980 presidential debate, in which he immediately shot back at Carter the famous line: “There you go again!”

Why on earth does Obama fear Bachmann? I swear at times rigthwingers can delude themselves as much as lefties. I agree with most of Bachmann’s positions but she has no cachet with anyone outside of a small subsection of the base. The Democrats attack her because they want Republicans to rally around her and make her the nominee.

This man has been coasting through his entire life. He has no practical skills. If there were no people around him to exploit, he would starve.
I’ve met people like him before. He takes full credit for all successes of the group he belongs to, and blames all failures on someone else. HE CANNOT EXIST WITHOUT THE GROUP.
In the real world, when you isolate someone like this and make his success or failure a matter of his own performance, he falls on his face. His only skills are his ability to manipulate the motivations of, and exploit the brilliance of, the others around him.
Obama is dead weight. He is an unnecessary component of any equation. He consumes resources without contributing anything of substance.

I like Bachmann but I don’t think she can win. She will often not give a straight answer or will answer by completely changing the subject and I don’t think that’s going to fly with people. Stephenopoulos attacked her, but why wouldn’t she give a straight answer, like on the issue of minimum wage? It gives the impression that she is being evasive or disingenuous, even if that’s not her intention.
God does talk directly to her so she may have super powers.
