Has anyone mentioned how the corp of engineers did not lower several dams. For over 50 years dams built have been lowered over the winter to allow for snow melt in the spring. One in particular. The Oahe north of Pierre South Dakota was full all winter. This dam was built to prevent flooding. Why was this dam not lowered during the winter? WHY?
Was this a created crisis????????????

A friend of mine in WY sent me some pictures from a few days ago, of the N. Fork of the Shoshone River near flood stage. This small stream originates in Yellowstone Park and is a usually a minor tributary of the Missouri River drainage. He also sent pictures of the Absaroka Range, covered with more snow than he’s seen in 40 years, and it hasn’t begun to melt.
All of my friends up there have complained of a colder, snowier winter followed by a colder, wetter spring . They all knew this was coming – where was the Corpse of Engineers? This is going to be an unmitigated disaster, many Minots in our future.
We need to start paralyzing the EPA with lawsuits, like they’ve done with the Forest Service, Oil exploration, BLM, and the Corpse.

Exactly. Thier focus of management has changed, and they won’t admit their actions, or inactions actually. They’ve also caused massive silting of reservoirs by this season’s poor management. So from here on out, flood control will be less effective, unless dredging is done, and provided they actually practice flood control in the first place
