Petulant man-child president on invite from McConnell: “Not a conversation worth having”

Dick.

(Reuters) — The White House effectively turned down an invitation by Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell for President Barack Obama to visit his members on Capitol Hill on Thursday to discuss raising the debt limit.

White House press secretary Jay Carney, while not directly saying the invitation had been rejected, said Obama did not need to hear Republicans tell him what they would not support.

That, Carney said, was “not a conversation worth having.”

:-( It will be a sad day in our history if the first black president is also the American president to be dragged out of the White House and beaten senseless.

Well fine then Mr. President – you don’t want to meet or negotiate with Republicans? Then if the debt ceiling ISN’T raised IT’S ON YOU!

nevermind that fact that I don’t think the debt limit should be raised anyway, but since Obama wants to play politics with this thing, let him bear the brunt of the public’s wrath.

As John Boehner said on Hannity – “Hey Mr. President, WE passed a budget, where is YOUR budget?!?”

What to look for? A presidential assassin always seems to conform to a few basic traits. I think that American history will back me up on this.

    - He is Anarchist/Socialist OR he is insane. (sometime both)
    - He believes that the president isn’t leaning far enough to the left.
    - He is involved in the political process at some level.

So which one of OBAMA’S OWN CONSTITUENTS is most unhappy with his posturing ‘moderation’?

Say, all y’all, I understand full well the passions out here, but honestly, talking about draggin’ him out of the White House and beating him, or his being assassinated is just TOO far over the top.

My biggest fear is the left taking him out with their version of a Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby scenario.

Then we are left with a grieving widow and two fatherless ninnypickins screaming for revenge.

This is the best shot the commies have or ever will have at running ,er,ruining this GREAT nation.

    Youre right.

Someone should walk into the oval orifice and beat him within an inch of his life. No need to drag it outside.

Id do it if someone could remove the secret service for an hour.

The guy is allying himself and possibly our country with terrorist organizations. You dont find that over the top?

The conversation worth having that the repubs have no balls to have, is how we go about impeaching this ahole.

If any of the WORTHLESS republicans had ANY balls, they would have started impeachment proceedings a year ago. Its not like we dont have enough reasons!

@gastorgrab – Malcolm X was killed by his own. Farrakhan is awfully troubled by barky obama these days, and there are the rumors of barry being malcolm’s son. The question is: will it be like father, like son – and the far left seeking revenge for what they deem as betrayal yet again?

He’s right, you know- he has the votes in the Senate to do whatever he wants, and since he only recognizes power and having the votes, it serves him no purpose to meet with McConnell. He doesn’t waste his time meeting with those who are in the minority- he is the superior one and is pissed that he has to even talk to the GOP in the House.
