Issa To Launch Congressional Investigation Into Obama Using White House For DNC Meeting With Big Money Donors…

(Politico) — House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa is probing what he sees as signs of an unseemly overlap between President Barack Obama’s official and political activities.
In what could be considered the committee’s sharpest probe to date of the White House, Issa sent a letter to Obama’s top lawyer Monday evening asking for a slew of documents relating to what the California Republican termed as “an array of potentially illegal fundraising behavior.”
Issa singled out a White House meeting in March between Obama, Democratic National Committee officials and members of the business community — who were all Obama donors. The meeting was organized by the DNC.
He’s also calling into question the Obama administration’s decision to provide access to administration officials — possibly including the White House chef — to large donors.
And Issa is taking issue with a campaign video that he says appears to have been shot in the White House, advertising a raffle to have dinner with Obama and Vice President Joseph R. Biden in return for contributions.

Why doesn’t he go after Obama for the real crimes…. a forged Birth Certificate, the Sestak BRIBE, Gunrunner, the Union payoffs, having Trumka as an almost permanent visitor to the WH, the Chrysler bond holder theft, etc.
Issa is wasting our time and money on something that, even if proven, will have no effect on Obama.
Don’t stop here. His ’08 campaign was spilling over with foreign cash. Right from the beginning this entire regime has benn and still is criminal. Gather ALL of the evidence and IMPEACH.
Unless he is doing these investigations with the goal of putting together a gigantic file for an impending and certain impeachment…this is going nowhere.
I like Issa for the most part, but he tends to waffle a bit much for my taste. This is fine, and legit for him to look into and we all know there is something there to investigate. HOWEVER, where the hell is Issa’s investigation into Fast and Furious, and this executive order Obama is signing today on banning MORE guns under the guise of protecting MEXICO? Violating campaign finance laws is one thing, but destroying our Second Amendment rights and violating the Constitution is WAY MORE a crime in my book. Issa and the gang in the House need to get their groove thing on regarding how Americans are going to survive Van Jones’ and Obama’s rioting thugs than DNC fundraiser violations.
Besides, I will believe Issa means what he says when something actually comes from his investigations that so far have either been called off, or have little action. At this juncture Issa is all hot air, and little production.

Good but the pResident will just ignore this like he’s done before…. He should investigate (with vigor) the Fast/Furious program; Il Douche’s backdoor executive orders (e.g., cap/trade, FCC, EPA) and Il Douche’s ignoring of the court order about the drilling moratorium in the gulf…..

Issa needs to build a track record before he goes for the gold. Getting a winning record of the small stuff makes it easier when grabing for the gold ring.
This guy is such a waste. He bailed in investigating pigford that has TENS OF THOUSANDS FELONIES and even worse he voted to fund it some more!
