Omaha Public Schools Spends $130K In Stimulus Money To Buy 8,000 “Social Justice” Manuals For Teachers, States Government “Channels Wealth To White People”

Leftist indoctrination under the banner of “diversity.”

(Omaha World Herald) — The Omaha Public Schools used more than $130,000 in federal stimulus dollars to buy each teacher, administrator and staff member a manual on how to become more culturally sensitive.

The book by Virginia education consultants could raise some eyebrows with its viewpoints.

The authors assert that American government and institutions create advantages that “channel wealth and power to white people,” that color-blindness will not end racism and that educators should “take action for social justice.”

The book says that teachers should acknowledge historical systemic oppression in schools, including racism, sexism, homophobia and “ableism,” defined by the authors as discrimination or prejudice against people with disabilities.

The authors argue that public school teachers must raise their cultural awareness to better serve minority students and improve academic achievement.

The Omaha school board approved buying 8,000 copies of the book — one for every employee, including members of the custodial staff — in April. The decision to buy the book was made 11-0, with board member Mary Ellen Drickey passing on the vote.

Does it mention that white people have a culture of hard work and integrity? does it mention that corruption is the main cause of poverty? Handing out racist manuals. Great.

I thought that passing the Crapulus Bill was dire and that it had to be passed to stimulate the economy. How does spending $130K of our tax dollars propagandizing youngsters stimulate the economy, there, Barry the Commie Imbecile? If I lived in Omaha and had a child in the school system there, I’d raise holy hell.

The internationalists dream of knocking down all geographic borders and replacing them with identity classes, is getting closer every day.

They would rather distribute political power along class identity; race, ethnicity, religious, political interest……but they are all ‘interest groups’. It was implemented once before in a policy known as ‘Separate but Equal’, but the program failed to conform with the geographically-based rules of the Constitution.

Many nations have tried this method. WWII Germany experimented with assigning rights based on class and race distinctions. Their method incorporated an ‘equalization’ process that attempted to balance the perceived persecution of the German people, by “the Jews”, over centuries. In order to redistribute justice, the perceived crimes of Jews ancestors were factored into their calculations.

The people who define everything according to ‘race’ are sometimes called ‘racist’.

You too can become a liberal academic the: “Write A Liberal Book Spin-O-Matic” way!

On the first wheel is everything evil about America: Racism, Sexism, Homophobia, Greed, Conservatives, Xenophobia, whites…etc.

On the second wheel is an institution or program: Education, Housing, Military, Government, Media, Corporations, Banks, Medicine, Religion,…etc.

Spin each wheel and write a paper that connects the two…… somehow…..it doesn’t matter, just make stuff up.

Et voila! You’re a published liberal hack.

It sadly illustrates how the progressive left has completely taken over education, and how hard it will be to ever get it back.

educators should “take action for social justice.”

    ——–

‘LEGAL Justice’ was decided upon by representatives of the people, the Legislative branch of government, and is enforced by the Executive branch. Disputes are decided upon by our Judicial branch of government.

Legal Justice bans behaviors that interfere with the self-determination of others.

‘SOCIAL Justice’ was never officially adopted as a standard for anything. It is a race-based moral ideology that was invented by partisan interests. It Judges guilt or innocence, ‘goodness’ or ‘badness’, based only on the identity that IT assigns to each class of people.

Social Justice shames or encourages people based only on the identity traits that it recognizes.

I work in an office where whites are the minority. My white coworkers who have been there longer than I have all display certificates at their desk in recognition of having completed some sort of continuing education course at a local community college called “Cross-Cultural Communication.”

None of my “minority” coworkers display these certificates. Which makes me wonder if only the whites were required to take the course.

Embarrass Your Employer, While Getting Rich Off of “Diversity” Scams

Glenn Singleton of Pacific Educational Group has become a rich man by preaching racism, hate, and scapegoating. School systems hire him for hundreds of thousands of dollars to insult and scapegoat teachers and students based on their race under the guise of “diversity training.” That embarrasses the school systems that hire him in high-profile legal cases. Yet foolish school superintendents continue to hire him at exorbitant rates, as the Discriminations blog notes, citing a recent story in the San Francisco Chronicle.

Previously, Singleton embarrassed the Seattle Schools. In 2002, they hired him to indoctrinate their students and staff about racism. As a result, they redefined racism consistent with Singleton’s extreme and radical beliefs. The Seattle Schools defined “individualism” as a form of “cultural racism,” said that only whites can be racist, and claimed that planning ahead (“future time orientation”) is a white characteristic that it is racist to expect minorities to exhibit.

Singleton promotes the basest racial stereotypes, such as claiming that “’white talk’ is ‘verbal, impersonal, intellectual’ and ‘task-oriented,’ while ‘color commentary’ is ‘nonverbal, personal, emotional’ and ‘process-oriented.’” He also blathers about “the ubiquity of white privilege and racism,” and depicts Asian students as being “majority students” just like whites because they have the temerity to succeed academically in a predominantly white society. But although he views minority culture as not being “intellectual” and “task-oriented,” it is white teachers whom he blames for the underperformance of many minority students, since he claims it would be a “racist statement” to place any responsibility for minority underperformance on minorities themselves…..

Arlington Schools Hire Race-Baiting Diversity Consultant

The school system in my county, Arlington, Virginia, certainly knows how to waste taxpayers’ money. Like several school districts, they’ve hired an infamous race-baiting “diversity consultant,” Glenn Singleton, whose racist theories drew criticism from four Supreme Court justices this year in the landmark court case of Parents Involved in Community Schools v. Seattle School District No. 1.

As I noted earlier, Glenn Singleton of Pacific Educational Group has gotten rich promoting racism, racial division, and scapegoating in the schools. School systems hire him for hundreds of thousands of dollars to stereotype and scapegoat people based on their race under the guise of “diversity training.”

In 2002, the Seattle Schools hired him to “educate” their students and staff about racism. Singleton promotes the crudest imaginable racial stereotypes, such as claiming that “’white talk’ is ‘verbal, impersonal, intellectual’ and ‘task-oriented,’ while ‘color commentary’ is ‘nonverbal, personal, emotional’ and ‘process-oriented.’” He incessantly complains about “the ubiquity of white privilege and racism.” To illustrate how white people should behave, he points to an ashamed, self-hating white teacher who said that “although I often try to seek counsel of colleagues of color, it is inevitable that times arise where it’s only after the fact that one of them points out some flaw in my reasoning. The flaws are often the result of my ingrained Whiteness and my own blindness to its perpetual presence.”

Under Singleton’s influence, the Seattle Schools defined “individualism” as a form of “cultural racism,” said that only whites can be racist, and claimed that planning ahead (“future time orientation”) is a white characteristic that it is racist to expect minorities to exhibit.

In June 2007, the Supreme Court struck down the Seattle Schools’ use of race in student assignment, and 4 of the 9 justices cited Seattle’s wacky, Singleton-influenced, definitions of racism in the course of their opinions. Justice Thomas, for example, cited those definitions in footnote 30 of his opinion to explain why the courts should not defer to school districts when they use race. Likewise, Chief Justice Roberts cited those definitions in footnote 14 of his opinion for the Court.

As an employee of OPS, I am furious that I am expected to read and discuss a book with biased theories about white privilege, social justice, and cultural sensitivity. Also frustrating is that employees have to read about this expectation in the newspaper instead of getting information from our building principal or our superintendent.

In my opinion, the $130,000 used to purchase these books would have been much better spent on hiring successful, competent teachers to help increase student achievement. For 130K you could have hired at least 3 veteran teachers (I’m using my 10 year veteran teaching salary as an estimate).

Hopefully in this attempt to “start a dialogue” teachers will be able to share their ideas about the achievement gap without being labelled a racist, etc. I’ve got my own theories that are along the lines of the breakdown of the family in ALL cultures, the absence of God in schools, and the increasing dependence on government handouts for survival.

Asvero Gravelli, a prominent author on fascism at the time, described fascism in the following way:

“Fascism transcends democracy and liberalism; its regenerative action is based on granite foundations: the idea of hierarchy, of the participation of the whole population in the life of the State, social justice in the equitable distribution of rights and duties, the infusion of public life with moral principles, the affirmation of religious values, the prestige of the family, the ethical interpretation of the ideas of order, authority and liberty. In the light of this transcendence Europe will be able to find its way to enter a new phase of History.”

Fascism is an ideology that focuses on the State, and as such the boundaries between Church and State were broken just as the boundaries between Corporation and State were broken.

Just as corporations and the State were brought into mutually beneficial relationships so to were the Christian Churches and the State.

    sounds like Liberation theology…
