   There’s just no way that Obama’s speech sounding like Carter’s was a coincidence. The odds are slimmer than the Wookie turning down French fries. Anyone besides me remember trying on clothes in freezing cold department store dressing rooms because Carter told everyone to turn down the heat to save energy rather drilling for more American oil or building new refineries. Yeah, that gave me a lot of malaise. Will Obama bring back the “Misery Index” as well, only under a slightly different name?

   If you’ve never read it before, you should. The original “Crisis of Confidence” speech sounded like it could have been written by any modern, ‘Environmentally Conscious’, liberal politician.

   How could one country be so unlucky as to get struck by the same stupidty in the presidency in a 35 year span? I’ll bet Jimmah has been celebrating for the past +2 years every time he hears or sees Obama. He now knows he’ll not be the worst president in U.S. history.
