SEIU Intimidation Manual Advocates Bullying Of Employers And Their Families To Force Companies Into Unionizing…

Unions are a cancer.
Comments & pings are closed.(Washington Times) — In the past decade, unions have become increasingly desperate to obtain new dues-paying members. An example of how desperate can be found in a 70-plus-page intimidation manual from the Service Employees International Union(SEIU), which only recently came to light in a pending court case.
The new union tactic is to use pressure on corporate boardrooms as a means of organizing entire companies nationwide rather than recruiting workers on a site-by-site basis; in short, to organize employers rather than employees. To create this pressure, unions attempt to push businesses to the edge of bankruptcy, with little regard for the welfare of employer and employee. They attempt to strong-arm businesses into agreeing to take away the secret ballot for employees in union-organizing elections via card check.
They also try to force employers to restrict their own speech on union issues so that workers will not get both sides of the story on unionization. Among the SEIU’s demands is that employers agree to bargain only with it, to the exclusion of all other unions, regardless of what workers want.
SEIU is in federal court defending itself against charges of racketeering and extortion filed by one of its unionizing targets, the catering company Sodexo Inc.Sodexo’s court discovery recently revealed an SEIU “Contract Campaign Manual” on “Pressuring the Employer.”
Union pressure is nothing new, but what SEIU recommends is not limited to organizing drives and strikes. Rather, the pressure takes the form of a so-called corporate campaign, whereby the unionallies itself with outside third parties to raise intimidation to a new level.
SEIU’s manual details how “outside pressure can involve jeopardizing relationships between the employer and lenders, investors, stockholders, customers, clients, patients, tenants, politicians, or others on whom the employer depends for funds.” The union advises using legal and regulatory pressure to “threaten the employer with costly action by government agencies or the courts.”
It details the use of community groups to “damage an employer’s public image and ties with community leaders and organizations.” SEIU recommends going after company officials personally.
Not mincing words, SEIU states, “It may be a violation of blackmail and extortion laws to threaten management officials with release of ‘dirt’ about them if they don’t settle a contract. But there is no law against union members who are angry at their employer deciding to uncover and publicize factual information about individual managers.”

Sounds like a general criminal conspiracy to me.
Add in the fact that the SEIU is a highly political organization and discovery takes on the appearance of terrorism.
Violence for a political end is terrorism, isn’t it? Isn’t ‘terrorism’ a word that popped up during the French Revolution, and doesn’t it mean exactly that?
.
Time For The Rico Act.
Time for SEIU to be brought down time to totaly destroy them its time for them to trade in their brown shirts for ones with stripes and a number on them for life
Hasn’t that been number 1 in the union playbook since they were started?
RICO bitches.
Calling unions a cancer is an insult to cancer.
And my mother died of cancer.
The “NEW Color Purple”…..Oprah must be proud.
And the POTUS has them in his pocket with our tax dollars in the stimulus that bailed these fuckers out. Cant get anymore corrupt than that.
Fits perfect with his Chicago thugs pals. What do you expect?
Are there any liberals here who can explain how “good intentions” makes breaking the law OK?
If we were to ask any convicted felon if their intention were “noble”, what would they say?
.
Right out of the Communist play book. The unions have become so unnecessary that they have to resort to these tactics to prove to their members that they are needed.
I hope they all go to jail.
Wow, it’s always so nice when criminals document their crimes.
Paging AG Holder, AG Holder? Hello?
Must be dialing the wrong number.
How is it different than a government that enables deadly violence to promote a political agenda?

America is notoriously corrupt and has been corrupt since atleast the 1800s. Unions formed because business owners were abusive, exploitive, and corrupt. Today, businesses move out of the country because of the unions and not only that, Billy Clinton along with the Republicans made it easier for businesses to move their goods across the border. There is corruption no matter who YOU support. There is a limit as to what most people are willing to go along with.
unions are communist front organizations whose rank and file pay dues to support elitist officers lavish lifestyles. sounds sort of like the people the love to hate except those people run real businesses not shake down groups run by elitist lazy ass thugs that simply refuse to work and have found their niche in life as parasites on the very people they say they protect.
I can personally verify the tactics.
They tried to organize my wife’s workplace.
We demanded they comply with Beck and provide financials so we could determine how much of dues went to bargaining and how much to political activities. WA is not a right to work state, however when a individual is forced to join a union they are only required to pay for collective bargaining, and the union is required to provide the financials.
SEIU refused. Rather than release the financials, they chose intimidation.
SEIU started to met my wife in the parking lot, they started following her home, they would be waiting at our home when my wife got home.
I met them one day on my front step.
I made it very clear any more contact with my wife I would bring the full weight of any and laws for stalking and harassment. I gave them 30 seconds to clear off my property and stay away from my wife.
They hesitated.
I reached behind me and loosened my S&W MP Compact .40 in its holster.
I was seconds from detaining them on my property for trespassing, threatening and anything else I could think of.
They decided to leave.
Folks, SEIU will back down.
You have to be harder than they are and willing to go to the mat.
Could this be just a “dead cat bounce’?
Last gasp of a failed system?

It’s to bad you didn’t live in Texas, you could of lit all of the union thugs up for trespassing on your property!
blackmail and extortion laws…
Hopefully they will be charged with them laws…
Possible outcome could bring down that commie union !
I hate them. Their gung-ho members have got to be the most ignorant and partisan people I have ever met. They would literally vote for anyone as long as he or she was a democrat. The union time is over, and that is why they have become so corrupt.
@ JCM
WOW!
Good for you!
I worked for a huge union and I will never do that to myself again. IMO it is a communist type system and the ranks are filled with lazy slugs that have no problem perpetuating union thuggery at the drop of a hat.
I have seen guys destroy and F things up and keep their jobs. In any other situation they would have been on the street. I am not talking about small change items either.
Just like a communist system, you can work your ass off while the guy next to you, finds a place in the facility and goes to sleep. There is no merit and it is all based on hire date.
If one of your coworkers died, the first question asked was “What was his hire date and will I move up a notch” I have heard it myself , several times. It was usually just an off color joke, but there was actually a bit of seriousness attached.
It is a real sad mentality and I will not subject myself or my family to a situation like that ever again.
RICO.
Targets for a drone attack violent union brownshirt thugs especialy the SEIU thugs
