Obama: We Should Be Cutting “Defense Spending As Opposed To Food Stamps”…
Spoken like a true communist.
(RCP) — “A lot of the spending cuts that we’re making should be around areas like defense spending as opposed to food stamps,” President Obama told in an interview with NPR.
“What is true is that given the rising number of seniors and given the huge escalation in health care costs, that if we don’t structure those programs so that they are sustainable, then it’s going to be hard for the next generation to enjoy those same kinds of benefits. And so we are going to have to make some modest changes that retain the integrity of the program, but make sure that they’re there for years to come. And that’s not even just a deficit problem, that’s a step that even if we were all Democrats up here on Capitol Hill, we’d have to start making to make sure the integrity of those programs are preserved,” Obama also said in the interview.

This jackass (Ubama) would leave the USA totally defenseless in order to hand out food stamps to his voting base.
The next generation isn’t going to enjoy spit because of their awful tax burden, thanks to this spendthrift bozo.
Yeah those food stamp recipients are out their busting their ass and defending this great country……….They wouldn’t last a day in any of the Services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard)…….first we need to drug test their ass and then get them out on work details even if it is just to clean up the streets. We should have the cleanest streets in the world if we had all the food stamp recipients out there at least doing that……..

“Enjoying” those benefits? Nobody should be enjoying welfare. At the most, people should use it to suffice while they’re in a hole and then get off them as soon as possible. The idea that people should be enjoying these programs is the exact problem.
Despite being the “world’s policeman”, the US is spending less on defense as a percentage of GDP than any time in history. Do we really want the world’s shipping routes to go unprotected? It would be hilarious to see Europe fend for itself, but come on. Defense spending is the most stimulative spending of all.
No other country is cutting it’s defense spending – why does O want to make us defenseless in this climate?? Good question don’t ya think??

1- Food Stamp Program (now called SNAP – It’s a SNAP to get free food) (note, the territory of Guam is in the food stamp program, 23% of its citizens receive FSs BUT the citizens of Guam pay NO federal income taxes- they just get the freebies, compliments of the stupid American taxpayers)
2- Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
3- WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program
4- National School Lunch Program
5- School Breakfast Program
6- Summer Food Service Program
7- Emergency Food Assistance Program
8- Child and Adult Care Food Program
9- Commodity Supplemental Food Program
10- Special Milk Program
11- Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
12 -Nutrition Program for the Elderly
13- Commodity Distribution to Charitable Institutions and to Soup Kitchens and Food Banks
14- Nutrition Education and Training Program
15- Nutrition Assistance Program in Puerto Rico and the Northern Mariana Islands (note – in Puerto Rico 50% of the population is on the program, that’s right – half the population. AND the citizens of Puerto Rico DO NOT pay federal income tax – they just get the freebies, compliments of the stupid American taxpayers. Also, one million Puerto Rico citizens get Medicaid. Mi Salud (My Health), as Medicaid is known in Puerto Rico.)
