Boehner should not need to rewrite his bill. He should have presented a workable bill the first time and he did: Cut Cap and Balance.
At what point does Boehner step down as Speaker? Time to get a Tea Party person at the head of the House GOP. You passed CC&B. make it clear that is the ONLY way forward…if you want to keep your job, Mr. Speaker.
The trillion+ in cuts assumes that government will grow at 7% per year.
In other words government will only grow at ~6% per year. BFD!

I agree with buzzsaw, and that’s what I did with my kids. They’d come to me with a plan, say for an allowance increase. I’d state my price I could live with and they’d try and get me to raise it. The more they raised it, the lower I’d get. Didn’t take them too long to stop that. Guess I’m not a negotiator. I’ve got too many things on my plate to play games like that. If the ball’s in my hand, present your case, listen to my answer, give me your argument, see if I budge, then go sulk. Terrible mother!
