Gallup Poll: Obama’s Weekly Approval Rating Tanks, Ties All-Time Low Of 43%…
The lower he goes, the more the left and their MSM lapdogs play the race card.
PRINCETON, NJ — President Barack Obama averaged a 43% job approval rating for the week of July 18–24, tied for the lowest weekly average of his administration. Obama’s rating at this point is lower than President Bill Clinton’s ratings were in the fall of 1995 when he was embroiled in a budget dispute similar to the one Obama faces now.
Obama’s most recent weekly job approval rating is similar to his 44% of the previous week, but down three percentage points from the two weeks before that. The president also had 43% weekly job approval ratings in late June, in April, and in August 2010. His three-day job approval average for the weekend, July 22–24, is 45%, up slightly from 42% for July 21–23.
The trajectory of Obama’s approval ratings going forward will depend partly on the way the current high-stakes, high-visibility negotiations over the federal budget and deficit play out in the weeks ahead. Obama spent last week working with Speaker of the House John Boehner and others to reach agreement on lifting the nation’s debt ceiling by Aug. 2. By the weekend, the negotiations were at an impasse, and Obama was left without an agreement on the big budget deal he had been pursuing.

I believe the actual poll numbers for Obama are worst than the MSM and polling organizations show. I’m sure he’s really in the thirties, but they won’t let on trying to desperately keep this incompetent stumblebum administration in power.

Gallop is a liberal poll, but that’s about where Rasmussen has him. Hard to believe it’s not more like 13 percent.

If my household was this much in debt, I would cut spending as much as possible and go out and look for a second job to increase my income. Duh, we need to cut spending AND raise revenue.
I speculate, based on this chart, that racism in America has been steadily increasing over the last few years, and has gotten particularly egregious in 2011. I am writing a grant application seeking $500,000 to study this issue, with a view to determining whether the increased racism is caused by CO2, the rise of the Tea Party, or the continued existence of Sarah Palin. Of course, now that we need a study like this most, John Boehner, Eric Cantor and Paul Ryan are actively seeking to underinvest in academic research which they think will hurt their party. But weapons systems? They always seem to find enough money for them. When will people take precedence over profits and war profiteering?

Considering all that Obama has achieved in his presidency, 43% approval is way too high. Either the pollsters are lying or it tells me how many people are comfortable with entitlements, the idea of a nanny-state and “soft” tyranny or they are actually so detached from reality that they cannot see what is coming down the pike for this country. Bush’s numbers tanked in the 20s (and rightfully so) for less than half of the damage that Obama has done. It is disconcerting still.
