Navy Strips Silver Star From John Kerry’s Key Swift Boat Ally…
Kerry better hope this doesn’t turn into a trend.
(Politico) — The Navy Times reported last week that Navy Secretary Ray Mabus stripped the Silver Star from a Vietnam swift boat veteran, Capt. Wade Sanders:
“Had the subsequently determined facts and evidence surrounding both the incident for which the award was made and the processing of the award itself been known to the Secretary of the Navy in 1992, those facts would have prevented the award of the Silver Star,” [Mabus spokeswoman Pamela] Kunze said.
Sanders is now in jail on child pornography charges. But he’s best known as the man who introduced John Kerry at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, and, ironically, vouched for the authenticity of Kerry’s service.

Buddy had a mortar round go off way to close while in Iraq. It rung his bell pretty good and since he was kinda out of it for a bit, they packed him off to the base hospital to get checked out. Other than a ringing in his ears and slight concussion he was fine.
He tried everything to get of getting the Purple Heart, he didn’t think an injury which only took a couple of tylenol to clear up was worthy.
So do pedophiles return their medals by throwing them over the White House fence too, or is that reserved just for lying traitors?

Things are pretty screwed up right now, and as @ roadmaster brought up, we also had officers that got medals they NEVER earned! Unfortunately, I think we have “corporate like” officers running the military at present! You know, all blow and no go types!
