Superb! Rubio was absolutely superb! Next to Rubio, Kerry looked like a lumbering neophyte.

Rubio is running circles around most others, no wonder the LSM didn’t interview him recently. He’s brought up the same points we’ve all been declaring for days and weeks while the senate does nothing. The budgetary process is lawfully the proper place to have these squabbles. But the senate has shirked their job since Maobama arrived. Hence, through presidential and senate procrastination and inattention here we are in THEIR manufactored crisis.

I have only a few words for this awesome Senator , go for it, there is

What in the world are you talking about? Cuba was a possession of Spain until 1898 and the Spanish-American War, which the U.S. won. Cuba gained its independence from the U.S. in *1902*. The Castro Revolution took place 1953-1959. Which is when Rubio’s parents escaped to the U.S.

For his parents to have been born while Cuba was a protectorate of the U.S. they would have to have been born before 1902. Which would currently make them 109 years old.

And I doubt Rubio was born to 70 year old parents!

The fact that his parents are naturalized citizens and this disqualifies him from holding the Office of President of the U.S., is something we already know.

Hence the comments above regarding Vice President.

Rubio, is truly a brilliant man, I would love to see him on the White House one day.
I know he comes from parents not born into this country ,but who have become true American citizens the hard and proper way.
Knowing this and Rubio being a Conservative,the left will never let him run,they will scream and cry that he is not legal to be president, even though obama is illegal,they still won’t allow Rubio to run.

The Constitution’s Article II Section 1 Clause 5 requires the president to be a “natural born citizen” which the Supreme Court ruled in agreement with the Law of Nations (which is the basis of the Constitution) is “born in-country of citizen parents”.
The president cannot just be the broader category “citizen”, which a senator or congress-person can.
Many people are confused about this simple concept. And besides, just being born in the US does not make you an automatic citizen, people are confused about that too! If you are born subject to a foreign power, you are not a US Citizen…you can naturalize as an adult. That is why tiny Mexican babies born of Mexican parents are not US citizens, since they are legally Mexican citizens. In order to be a US Citizen you need at least one US citizen parent. Go read the 14th amendment to point this out. The first part of the 14th amendment was written for former slaves unfairly denied citizenship, born “subject to the jurisdiction” since they had no other country. The author of the 14th amendment, John Bingham, verifies this in the Congressional Record in 1866.

The US freed Cuba from Spanish colonial rule iln 1898 for $20 million dollars. Cuba gained formal independence in 1902, but the US retained the right to perpetually intervene in Cuba, therefore making it and its Citizens Americanized. Marco Rubio’s parents were born when Cuba was under US protectorate status, just as Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. was under British mandate making him British, and which is why Obama admitted he was born British as such on his own websites.
Presidente Fulgencia Batista joined the allies in WWIII in declaring war on Japan and Germany in December 1941 with Cubans fighting in concert with Americans in that global conflict.
The Rubios are not some post-Castro globalists. The Rubios willingy came to America when afforded the opportunity. So Marco Antonio Rubio born in Miami, Florida on May 28th, 1971 is a Natural Born Ctiizen due to the circumstances that Cubans, like Guamites, Philippinos and Puerto Ricans, held special status as AMERICANS. Guam and Puerto Rico in fact have representative status in Congress and the American Electoral College.
I believe Marco Rubio is a Natural Born Citizen (born in-country of citizen parents) and that a healthy debate over the issue and the fact that Obama never could have been a natural born citizen, is in order.

Take for example Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, both their sets of parents arrived from Puerto Rico (where they were born) as children and Marc and Jennifer were born in the USA. Marc and Jennifer are both “natural born citizens”.

Rubio’s parents were born there while it was a protectorate.
To be fair the term “natural born citizen” means status AT BIRTH and so it’s just as well that Rubio’s parents be granted their US Citizenship at birth, a right which like in Puerto Rico, can never be reversed except by a willing act as an adult to refuse it. This is just as Obama never refused his British citizenship and it looks like he went to Kenya just in time to claim that citizenship too when Kenya became independent. Never mind about his adopted citizenship in Indonesia. Obama was born British and unless he refused it as an adult, revoked it formally, or switched to Kenyan, he’s still British.
Thus Rubio’s parents were born US Citizens and never revoked that citizenship AND they never claimed any Cuban citizenship. In fact they left, set up life in America and went even further to distance themselves from Cuba by naturalizing.
Perhaps they went the further step to naturalize because given Batista, Castro, and the upheavals and declaration of Cuban independence after they were born Americans, they felt it necessary to summary declare where they stood. But they were born Americans, nothing can strip them of that unless as adults they did so themselves, when in fact they did nothing but affirm it.

Rubio can never be a Natural Born Citizen.
