Our Long National Nightmare Is Over: Obama Makes It Back To The Golf Course After Seven-Week Lull…
Obama hit the links today for the 76th time.
(WHD) — President Obama went golfing today, heading out for the 18th time this year and for the 76th time in his presidency, but for only the first time in seven weeks, having somehow not gotten a round in FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH OF JULY.
Obama had not been golfing since going twice on the weekend of June 25, the last of an incredible 13 weekends in a row that he had made it out on the links. It seems with the debt ceiling showdown and other matters, Obama actually HAD TO WORK WEEKENDS, causing him to miss some golf.
He will certainly make up for lost time starting Thursday, when he leaves for a ten day vacation on Martha’s Vineyard. He’s out today at the Andrews Air Force Base course with one of his usual posse, White House trip director Marvin Nicholson, as well as Marvin’s lucky brother Walter and someone named Grant Campbell.

In the meantime I’m working today, Sunday. I worked yesterday, Saturday. And, I worked every single day during the week, and last weekend too. In fact, I would have to look at my calendar to see when I did have a day off in the last couple of months.
Something about being a small business owner and contractor, trying to keep people employed and still pay the mortgage. And pouring what money I do keep back into said business.
But GOD FORBID the president of the USA and most powerful man in the free world should have to work more than 5 days in a row.
The rest of us can just suck it up and keep plugging along just so long as he gets an early tee time so he can get back to his next gala dinner party/concert at the White House or wherever.
