MSNBC Hits Bottom, Keeps Digging: Tingles Labels Perry a Birther Over Schultz’s Selectively Edited “Black Cloud” Clip…
To be precise, Tingles “smells birtherism.”
Via left-leaning Mediaite, who warn Tingles to back off because the clip he’s whining about is edited and taken wildly out of context.

Needless to say, if Matthews is hanging on to the “big black cloud” comment for essentially calling Perry a birther in a segment where a panelist compared him to Donald Trump — a comment that MSNBC is getting major backlash for taking out of context — he’s going to have some explaining to do come tomorrow [yes, yes he will — ed].

Not every citizen is a natural born citizen, but all natural born citizens are “citizens”.
Article I’s requirement for Congress is only to be a 7 or 9 years a US “Citizen”, Article II’s is for the President to be a natural born citizen and 14 years a “RESIDENT”…the reason it says “resident” is that not all “citizens” are natural born citizens (born-incountry of citizen parents).

You’re right. The Paulbots are all over the place, smearing Perry to the best of their ability. They’ve done the same thing with the other candidates, just not quite so concentrated. And it’s always by stealth…creating and dropping false or exaggerated information into the argument…pretending to be concerned Republicans worried about other Republicans.
This latest 2nd place position for Paul at the Iowa straw polls has gotten them all excited and they’ve doubled down on anyone they perceive as taking something away from Paul. And they see that in Perry.
And I wouldn’t doubt that they contributed to Palin’s evisceration.
BTW, “a big black cloud” hanging over something is a commonly used metaphor, particularly in the south. Perhaps they should reference Joe Bizzfitz(sic) in the “Little Abner” comic strips.
