Union Boss Tells Striking Verizon Goons: “It’s Open Season. . . Torture Them. . . Don’t Let These F*cking Piece Of Sh*t Pigs Break Us”…

MYFOXNY.COM — The Verizon strike involves 45,000 workers. Most of them work on the Verizon land lines, a business that has been declining as more and more people use cell phones. These workers and Verizon are trying to renegotiate a contract. Both sides are pretty far apart.
The main issues include cutting back on pensions, disability and sick days, and higher costs for healthcare.
In many cases, the pickets are quiet like the one in Harlem Monday afternoon: picketers passed out flyers, encouraging a few honks on the horn.
But in the past week, we’ve seen some CWA union members take it a good bit further.
One group of strikers blew horns and whistles in the faces of Verizon workers.
One protestor in New Jersey appeared to instruct a girl to stand in front of an approaching Verizon truck.
Fox 5 has learned union leaders record a voice message every couple of days updating members on the status of the negotiations.
On Friday, Local 1109 Executive Vice President Chris Calabrese spoke. In one clip, he references what strikers should do to managers and Verizon workers he calls scabs.
“It is open season. Follow them safely, but when you get to a location, torture them. Torture them with chants and noise. Be so loud that they can’t concentrate and wish they never got out of bed,” he said on the recording. Calabrese also said Verizon doesn’t want a fair deal, but instead wants to break the union. “Understand brothers and sisters, we can never let these [expletive] piece of [expletive] pigs break us.”

This is disgusting. One of those replacement workers is my loved one. Hearing this makes me sick to stomach. The union workers need to go back to work while this is settled so they can earn their paycheck and stop complaining they have no money. They’ll have more of a chance to bargain with Verizon if they show they’re still working rather then standing out on the street and screaming like immature children.

I don’t know where this reporter is from, but in Manhattan on Sunday and again today, the union goons are standing over Verizon workers blowing air horns all day long.

I am one of those Verizon workers still on the job. The union tried real hard to sign me on a month ago after Verizon moved me from “management” to “associate”……didn’t much care for the position change but there was little desire for me to go union being I work in a “right to work” state. I listened to the whole union line but when it degenerated to “brothers and sisters unite” I walked away. In an economy with over 9% unemployment I see no reseason to strike. Verizon as a whole is profitable…no doubt…however the land line side is NOT and hasn’t been in nearly 2 decades. “Brothers and Sisters”…wise up and see the world as it is…..you could easily end up like the air traffic controllers.

Yeah what good does a union do anyway? I mean at least when you get rid of a union then you can control and pay each worker individually so only the single employees who are the very best hard working employees can be paid the $40 to 60 k. And all of the employees who have family’s and things to do with the wife kids can be paid as little as possible or minimum wage until they straighten up and get rid of the family time and devote there life to the job so they can be paid well and if they blow there horn or complain then FIRE THEM!!!!

I am in support of “FIRING ALL THE VERIZON WORKERS”, exporting the Verizon jobs to third world countries, the laid off workers can kick back and collect extended unemployment for a few years, live there home and not make any payments and eventually lose there homes and then when the unemployment runs out they can go on welfare and collect welfare for themselves and there children. THen they can learn how to deal drugs to make money and get arrested and go to prison for the rest of there life. At least this way we can create more people who know how to manipulate the system welfare recipients and at the same time we can pay for that no good low life drug dealing criminal. Well at least we will still get our Military pension cost of living increases while we are alive and hopefully I live until i’m 90, I figured it out, Military retired 22 years with at $24k a year but in 50 years I will be getting about $80K with the cost of living and other increases that most people don’t even realize. That’s another reason why we should hate the Dem’s and the unions because there is nothing in it for us, don’t ya see the Rebublican’s like GWB increased our defense budget up to a trillion a year so we have an open ticket to spend all we want to spend. I believe the only people in America that are entitled to a government pension from the USA is a VET everyone else should work until they die and never get a pension unless they save the money themselves somehow on low paying non union job no benefit unless you pay them yourself job. Period!! And that Vet should always get his pension after 20 years of service and keep receiving it and the increases until the day he dies. Rule #1 above all other rules is you need to believe anything that has ever been said on the very rich Republican owned FOX news station. I say this because they will always have the middle class working mans best interests at heart, well at least in a trickle down Republican kind of way, well at least maybe sometimes from time to time they might, or maybe they did once a long time ago back when men were men and sheep were ______. And in the meantime, I am trying to decide if I should just get rid of my home phone altogether. I used to be a long distance operator, and now you can shoot off canons and not hit workers in those areas – all concerns? press 2, press 3 press 4 – etc. then when you push O for operator – it goes to Russia or whereever and you get Peggy – Most people I know no longer have home phones. Reality bites. Unions BITE big time.
I am not out of work anymore Verizon just hired me on the scab bandwagon forever or at least until they can settle with the union they said.
