“One of the challenges in terms of rebuilding our economy is — businesses have gotten so efficient, that, uh, when was the last time somebody went to a bank teller? Instead of using an ATM. Or, used a travel agent instead of going online. A lot of jobs out that that used to require people now have become automated.”

Someone should advise Obama that people have to maintain these automatic machines and the software that drives them, and those are usually high paying jobs.

The Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, commonly known as the Cultural Revolution (Chinese: 文化大革命), was a socio-political movement that took place in the People’s Republic of China from 1966 through 1976. As our society advances we become more capital intensive. ATM’s and the internet is what we are becoming not what we have lost. Net wealth in the US is high because of this. Everyone is becoming engineers ( ..not poor ones.)
My lifestyle is improved by not having to wait in bank queues. ..er I mean blog ar work.

For Obama, the crux of ANY problem facing the nation is the result of someone or something else. His administration and policies have absolute nothing to do with it. That is the modus operandi of a narcissist.
He sees it as shifting the blame away from himself. But if people look at it correctly, he is in a roundabout way acknowledging that he is a totally ineffectual leader.
