Rubio is telgenic, without a doubt. He is handsome and photographs well. But so are most of smarmy Hollywood males.

The difference is that he has an “Honest face.” We all react to it. He smiles in an inclusive way; he looks at the person that he is speaking with. His body posture, unlike another well known politician, does not scream rejection, petulance, arrogance dismissiveness.

However, in the time between Obama’s announcement for President and his winning the Democratic nomination, not a single person on the planet seems to be on record as noticing this “definition” or suggesting that he was ineligible In fact in in 1844, a New York judge (Sandford) went so far as to say that the children of non-citizens born in the United States were eligible to be President, and that this opinion was universal among the public.

Somehow folks think that they can shout this “citizen parent definition” loud enough and long enough to make it true, but they can’t. The law doesn’t work that way.
