Now that NATO/US forces have assisted the Rebels/Taliban in gaining control in Libya and they will have access to 144 tons of gold and Libya’s arsenal the Taliban should really be able to ramp up the attacks on our troops in Afghanistan.

    Bring our troops home, NOW!

We have already won the war in Afghanistan which was “Remove the Taliban from power and destroy Al-Qeada training camps in Afghanistan. The troops are now only there to protect the mineral wealth or loot if you will.

They shed their blood to protect the treasure of the elite.

    Lay off the hash.

You embarrass my home state of Pennsylvania. You are damn lucky you live in the United States of America where you can spout off your disgusting and vile accusations.

So if I am wrong, then why are our troops still there? The original mission is complete.

Let those muzzies build their own Country, and if they screw up again by letting the Taliban or Al-Qeada back in, then we go back and remove them again. Why must we stay there continuously?

So when did we declare war on Pakistan? Oh thats right, we no longer have to declare war (Libya).

If we are at war with Pakistan, why are our troops no allowed to go in and fight it? Why are there hands tied? Hell, they’re not even allowed to fart anymore.

If we are not there to KILL the enemy, why are we there?

Don’t mean to get snippy (as Al Gore would say), but it a Host, not a communion wafer. And, the priest celebrates the Mass, he doesn’t deliver it.

Otherwise, thanks again for the powerful photographs.

First off, lets lose these rules of engagement.
Second, tell our warriors to shoot to kill anything and everything. Collateral damage happens in every war.
Third, plan a ticker tape parade down Broadway in New York City.
Lastly, bring said warriors home to that parade. Simple enough for me.

Stranger than fiction. There is a cemetery quite some distance from here but there was a young (civilian) killed as a result of a crash. The young person was buried (more or less) within walking distance of where he/she lived. This person’s family dog faithfully visited the grave site more or less daily.

What we couldn’t figure out, was how did the dog KNOW that is where his/her friend was buried? I mean how did the dog know that? Was it because of the scent of the family leaving memorial items there or what?

This is true. But almost too much to understand.

Since when is it unpatriotic to point out Afghanistans mineral resources? Why did the Soviets go in there in the 80′s?Today China are mining copper ore in that nation. What say you to thatMPFS79?Rather than wrapping yourself with the flag as your only argument for our effort in the region ,come up with a rational argument you cyber-bully.

At Aquinas and More we have been keeping Catholic military gift registries for the chaplains for years. There are still requests coming in and the chaplains that are in the field can still use your help!

Support the Archdiocese of Military Service! These priests are stretched thin and bring Our Lord as well as spiritual counsel to the men and women in the armed services. They are a profound witness to the Faith and because of them and the Holy Spirit, the Church has received many vocations to the priesthood from the men in the service. God bless the men and women in our military. Salute.
