Ron Paul Blames America For 9/11 Attacks, U.S. Occupation Motivates Terrorism, Not Islam…

Ignorant kook.

WINTERSET, Ia. — Two weeks away from the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, presidential candidate and Texas Rep. Ron Paul says that U.S. intervention in the Middle East is a main motivation behind terrorist hostilities toward America, and that Islam is not a threat to the nation.

At a campaign stop on Saturday in Winterset, one man asked Paul how terrorist groups would react if the U.S. removed its military presence in Middle Eastern nations, a move the candidate advocates.

“Which enemy are you worried that will attack our national security?” Paul asked.

“If you’re looking for specifics, I’m talking about Islam. Radical Islam,” the man answered.

“I don’t see Islam as our enemy,” Paul said. “I see that motivation is occupation and those who hate us and would like to kill us, they are motivated by our invasion of their land, the support of their dictators that they hate.”

Regarding 9/11, Paul said that attacks against the U.S. from Middle Eastern groups at home and abroad can be traced to the foreign presence of U.S. troops, as well as America’s relationships with dictator regimes.

Paul referred to a military base in Saudi Arabia, the birthplace of Islam, as a key motivator in the Sept. 11th attacks. Osama bin Laden viewed it as an American desecration of holy land.

“After 9/11, (people said) ‘Oh yeah, it’s those very bad people who hate us,’ but 15 of (the hijackers) came from Saudi Arabia,” said Paul. “One of the reasons they attacked us, is we propped up this Sharia government and the fundamentalists hated us for it.”

Muslims are here to undermine and conquer our society, to dominate us and convert us to Islam or enslave us for the greater service of Allah. We look at everything as having a choice involved, an innate fairness, personal choice and the concept of free will. Not so with the Islamic world. Submission to the will of Allah, conquest in the name of Allah. The different variations of the word that describes the believers in Islam (الإسلام, العبد الله, etc.) all come down to a root meaning slave (العبيد). Muslims are literally slaves of Allah.

If you do not believe in their specific variation of Islam, but claim Allah as your God, you are either an apostate, heretic or even classed as a nonbeliever. It’s very much like Catholics not accepting Mormons as Christians, but times 10.

Moderate Muslims are not as common as they would have us believe. They do exist and are quite often the literate and urbane doctors, lawyers and other professionals we associate as the assimilated folks. BUT that is not always true…appearances are deceiving, as in the case of Maj. Hasan and others like him. If you remember the 70′s era in US/Soviet relations when Perestroika (Перестройка) was the order of the day. Many in government and the military were concerned that the concept was actually Maskova (маски) or mask/hidden. This same concept маски, accurately describes how Islam presents itself to the west, the Islamic Taqiyyah.

So….. How are the bombings in India the US fault? How are the Malaysian bombings the US fault? How are the >etc< bombings the US fault?

Muslims like to blow things up. The US was targeted because we 'gasp' support Israel. That, and the fact that we are ourselves infidels, makes us a target. The US history in the Middle East actually favors Muslims to some degree. The US helped out in Afghanistan (because it benefited us). Once we stopped helping, a very rich Osama could have done wonders there. Instead, he decided that he needed a new enemy. We helped out in Bosnia. Choose the Muslim side. We give all that money to Saudi Arabia while kissing their butts. What exactly have we done AGAINST them? Support Israel.

How can we keep them from trying to kill us? Stay away from them and keep them out of the US or kill them where they sleep. There is no peaceful option.

Of course, I am only talking about Muslim extremists……..

I imagined with sadness a few days ago, the pain our dear President Reagan must have felt, and feels when his little boy Ron, didn’t turn out quite right.

I don’t mean that the President tried to mold him into some pre-ordained image, that would be controlling, not parental.

But that he didn’t turn out, quite ‘right’. That he doesn’t have the gratitude and clarity to admit to himself that his Father was a great man, and he? maybe not so much. To turn his disappointment in himself into attacks on his father and siblings,

    Sad.

I have had great respect for Ron Paul bringing the fiscal / financial crisis of the United States into the common Discussion. Which was the only way we would EVER get the politicians to pay attention.

But he really has made some glaring, serious missteps in, not only policy, but Rational Thought. What is he thinking? I fear for his health.

Is this quote accurate? I thought fundamentalist Muslim loved Sharia so they can haul their neighbors, with whom they have a more practical beef, into court on blasphemy charges.

Any rational human knows the Muslim hate Jews and they hate us for supporting Israel. Of course what they really hate is the fact that there is no longer a caliphate over which they can dictate. If they had that they would hate them as much as the Jews.

There is no greater sacrilege than humans that advance their secular agenda under the guise of religious adherence. God is not about our pecking order in the human milieu. God is about those of us who understand what He has done and appreciate it.

I agree with Ron Paul on most of his domestic agenda, and I actually do agree with him with regards to our interventionist policies…that the free market would ultimately lead to peace and prosperity around the world….BUT, it is also a fantasy which will never materialize because Mr. Paul fails to take into account human nature and the great influence of evil, especially in that part of the world. Everyone who is jumping all over Ron Paul for this statement might care to recall that EVERY President since and including Clinton has been making excuses for islam and its followers. If they are the enemy, they should be treated as such- ban their presence on US soil, and give them the outright war that they have been at with us for the last 230 or so years. We already elected one of them as POTUS, and that STILL didn’t satisfy them. They are an enemy by their OWN values. And as such, we are NEVER going to succeed in forcing them to become like us no matter how long we stay over there trying. So either DEFEAT them or declare “victory” and come home, and then the next time they try to attack us here, nuke Mecca and Medina into green glowing glass. But this neo-con anti-reality that we can win their hearts and minds by occupation if we stay there long enough without naming the real enemy we are there to fight is what SOME of us agree with him about, in part. Destroy them, here and there, as our enemies just we fought our enemies before- or come home, and leave them to their own misery, unless they try to expand it beyond their own borders again. THEN we fight them; not for their hearts and minds, but for their destruction.

We’ve been in the Middle East for decades doing this shit; and using 9/11 as an excuse to kill hundreds of thousands is disrespectful of those who were killed that day. But hey, keep on with the endless cycle of war, lol.

How is spending trillions of dollars on war fiscally conservative, anyhow?

But yeah, let’s keep thinking that every Muslim in the world is out to get us because they “hate our freedom” as Dubya put it. Funny how we have less freedom then we had a decade ago. I guess the “terrorists” won, eh?

To think it’s another reason is not grounded in reality.

Nazis were always allies with Islamists and leftists, just like Islam loving, Hitler adoring Buchanan is the poster boy of MSDNC. @sp -just go live in Cairo, if you really think that way, and hate the USA so much and believe that we caused all the muslims to ‘ hate us ‘ , so they just ‘had to attack us’, but of course, it was ‘our fault ‘ . .so if we draw back and stop fighting them, they’ll stop trying to kill us and all non-muslims, right ??

There will be ‘peace’ when all the muslims of the world give up their notion of trying to overrun the world, and if you do not believe that, just keep watching the news . .

  41. Hidajunshin says:

I do think that we should cease the endless cycle of warfare. And to do so, would mean that we stop pussyfooting around in these shitholes and allow the military to do what a military is designed to do: achieve a decisive victory in as short amount of time possible. Victory is defined as an eradication of the enemy or deal such defeating blows so that they are unable and unwilling to wage further warfare. Pulling up stakes now, without achieving victory, will only perpetuate the cycle of warfare and violence committed on our own people.

But it is where a nation comes down on one side or the other, regardless of how very unmodernistic it may seem, as to a nation’s relationship with the one little sliver of a country, Israel– given its diminuitive size compared to the rest of the world, except for the nation of Luxembourg perhaps, you wouldn’t think that being friendly with them, diplomatically, would be an issue– but ALL because of a specific group of followers of certain religion, that has become amorphous and multi-national, is the source of all of the strife generated against that tiny nation, and the resulting hub-bub that goes agains any nation that befriends them. I don’t think that it is right or proper to end such relationships, no matter how popular it may seem to the rest of the world to do so– especially when the rest of the world is speaking through a centuries-old bias against them all because of their centuries-old RELIGION.

How many of our soldiers, and sailors have fought, and died to protect, and defend Islamic countries, and their peoples from terrorist.

How many US tax dollars were spent protecting Muslims from terrorist in southwest Asia

There is absolutely no justification for this intense Islamic brutality.

And it is amazing to me that so many of our politicians seem to enjoy sucking up to Muslims.

Perry; Biden; Obama; Christie; Bloomberg; this here piece of shit; just to name a few.

The bottom line is this. The Muslims in general, and the terrorist especially, hate us because we exist. Because we breathe. Because we are not Muslims. Because we have something they don’t.

    And that something is freedom.

We are living in the 21st century, and for them it is still 650 AD.

I asked you to stop spreading lies about Perry!

Read what the Aga Khan (and his apparently really non-violent fellow Muslim moderates) worked out with Perry and the Texas teachers to inform kids about Islam:

“Because Islamic society is in a different state of development than Western society, conflicts naturally arise.
    1. Countries of Western Civilization have secular governments, which means great toleration of cultural and religious differences.”

(What? Did he just praise the West?)

    2. Countries of Islamic Civilization for the most part either have religiously dominated governments or demands to make them more religious, which mean less toleration of cultural and religious differences.

(Wait, didn’t he just knock Islam?)

    3. Muslims often lack respect for Western traditions and points of view. The Muslim relationship to the West is colored by the belief that Western beliefs [whether Christian or atheist] are defective and therefore inferior to Islam.

(Did he just say Muslims lack respect for Western traditions?)

From its early days, Islam reacted aggressively toward its civilized neighbors the Byzantines and the West. Muslim attacks against the West can be viewed as occurring in three waves…

    (Wait, what?)

While Westerners studied Islamic culture, Muslims showed almost no interest in Western culture, remaining ignorant of modernity and its impact.

    (Obviously pro-Islam propaganda.)

This goes on.. For anyone who is interested in the other changes, they can be found at:

The west is at war with islam. Rather, islam is at war with the west. The west has forgotten that. All the other events and activity is secondary and a distraction to this. Islam means to subjugate everyone. Secularism will not stand against it. I’ll know we are making progress when we stop avoiding bombing of mosques and bomb them on purpose because that’s where the enemy is.

Either go to the Middle East where they are or wait for them to show up at your doorstep. I prefer to take care of the problem on their turf.

As far as leaving them alone: try publishing a cartoon depicting Mohammed and see how many Muslims show up to kill you. You can’t reason with people who will threaten (or attempt) to kill you for any perceived insult. Rushdie is still in hiding for writing a stinking book. Even somebody “peaceful” like Cat Stevens wants him dead.

They hate you (non-Muslims). You have to deal with that reality, not ignore it.

I’ll wade into these murky waters carefully with what I am trying to say here. My concern with his reasoning is that he is drawing upon how Native Americans felt about the European settling of America. I am VERY concerned where this may lead, because it can make our Native populations fall prey to the schemes of what the Koran is about. I am truely concerned about OUR native poulations somehow being taken of advantage of with this situation.

I say this from having some roots of Native American. As history and time passes there are some things that grow more clear and one of them is that the European Settlers were looking for their independence as well. This was a very difficult time in our history…..the Europeans paid horrific high price in their lives settling….just as the Natives did adjusting to this whole situation.

THIS IS ALL THE MORE REASON why I do not appreciate that now our population of “new native americans” ( those born of American Parents) need to relive that horror all over again.

And……. don’t even get me started on this business of our invading them. don’t even go that way.

Actually, the biggest think tanks have found, repeatedly, that occupation creates strong enemies where there were none to begin with… It’s a matter of nationalistic pride… and a part of human nature.

So, most of what Ron Paul said on this is absolutely correct in terms of strategic intelligence.

But the rest of you on here can feel free to disagree because it’s stylish to call Ron Paul a kook. However, the facts are that — within any instance in history — you create the strongest enemies when you can invoke the “enemy’s” sense of nationalistic pride. Those who are more inclined to subscribe to the group move into group think and are willing to die for their group. It’s a lot more complicated than that, but that’s the super summary. You can find more detailed studies on the Rand Corporation website and in sociology books.

I told the U.S. Secret Service in 1983 they needed to do something about the religious fanatics and there was something seriously wrong with the religious fanatics. Although the federal government has known about the different problems involving religious fanatics for several decades, they did not respond probably, because politicians receive money, conduct business, and interact with religious fanatics. It was well within the governments ability to curb the religious fanaticism. 911 did not have to happen, nor did the subsequent wars.

    Speaking of “occupation”…

“What did the Prophet, the Companions after him, and the righteous forefathers do? Did they wage jihad against the infidels, attacking them all over the earth, in order to place them under the suzerainty of Islam in great humility and submission? Or did they send messages to discover “shared understandings” between themselves and the infidels in order that they may reach an understanding whereby universal peace, security, and natural relations would spread — in such a satanic manner as this?…
Offensive Jihad is an established and basic tenet of this religion. It is a religious duty rejected only by the most deluded…
Divine foundations that are built upon hating the infidels, repudiating them with tongue and teeth till they embrace Islam or pay the jizya with willing submission and humility…
The Prophet was “sent in the final hours with the sword, so that none is worshipped but Allah alone, partnerless.‖ [Muhammad's] provision has been provided under the shadow of his spear, and humiliation and contempt are upon whoever opposes his command.” Why else did the sword come as an important pillar, enslaving mankind to their Master [Allah]?…
Does Islam or does it not, force people by the power of the sword to submit to its authority corporeally if not spiritually? Yes. There are only three choices in Islam; either willing submission; or payment of the jizya, through physical, though not spiritual, submission to the authority of Islam; or the sword – for it is not right to let the infidel live. The matter is summed up for every person alive: Either submit, or live under the suzerainty of Islam; or die…
The West avenges itself against Islam for giving infidels but three options: Islam, jizya, or the sword…
As for the word “oppression,” those addressed take it to mean being placed under the authority of Islam by the sword, as the Prophet did with the infidels. They think that something that denies them [the freedom] to pursue obscenities, atheism and blasphemy, and idolatry is an “oppression.” They think that an attack launched against their ground, as in an Offensive Jihad, is an injustice, and so forth…
Justice is freeing slaves from being enslaved to other slaves in order to worship the Lord of mankind; from the chaos of religions to the righteousness of Islam; from the narrow confines of the world to the broad possibilities of this world and the Hereafter…
When the king of the Copts of Egypt tried improving relations with the Prophet by dignifying his messenger and sending him back on a beast of burden laden with clothing, and a slave-girl, did such niceties prevent the Companions from raiding the Coptic realms, forcefully placing them under Islamic rule?…
Muslims are obligated to raid the lands of the infidels, occupy them and exchange their systems of governance for an Islamic system, barring any practice that contradicts the Sharia from being publicly voiced among the people…
For it is, in fact, part of our religion to impose our particular beliefs upon others. Whoever doubts this, let him turn to the deeds of the Companions when they raided the lands of the Christians and Omar imposed upon them the conditions of dhimmi. These conditions involve clothing attire, specific situations, and class distinctions known to ulema as the pact of Omar, and they are notoriously famous. Let the signatories review them so they know that we are to force people by the power of the sword to [our] particular understandings, customs, and conditions, all in order to induce debasement and humility, just like Allah commanded when he said: “[...] until they pay the jizya by hand, in complete submission and humility” [9:29].”

But you would know that if you actually did your own research. There’s this independent report that came out, hmmmm, I forget what it’s called, oh yeah, the 9/11 Commission report. That’s where Ron Paul gets his info from. Where do you morons get yours? Our own CIA admits to blowback from our oppressive foreign policy and Ron Paul is the kook for talking about it. Most of you are just plain old racist and ignorant and are no real use because you’ll just vote for whoever you think has the most support. Just like people from Iraq, Afghanistan, yemin, Pakistan, and everywhere else in the world we decide to bomb, can’t blame the American People for the crimes our govt commits against innocent woman and children everyday all over the world. We can’t blame a whole fucking religion because some of them committed 9/11. It didn’t take long before Americans got pissed off enough that the British soldiers occupied Boston, that we started a revolution. And yet some of you can somehow think that we as a nation can bomb countries for decades, kill millions through sanctions, overthrow elected govts in favor of violent dictators, and have our CIA do whatever it does, and there wouldn’t be some kind of retaliation? Take the blue pill and plug your robot asses back into the Matrix. It’s not a coincidence that Ron Paul gets more campaign donations from active military than ALL other candidates combined. 87. TommyO says:
    August 29, 2011 at 12:00 pm

This distortion of Ron Paul’s position is standard smear tactics when the establishment is threatened – they need to marginalized Ron Paul here is a explanation on how and why:

Crash course on the phony “two party paradigm” and “media created tea party”

The media blackout of Ron Paul while bolstering other candidates illustrates nicely the two great modern schemes operating in American politics facilitated by the mainstream media – those being: the phony “two party paradigm” and the creation of the phony GOP “tea party”. First, the concept of a modern “tea party” came on board with the Ron Paul supporters back in 2007 during the campaign. Actual pounds of tea were to be dropped by a hovering blimp into Boston Harbor on the historic day of the original Boston tea party against British tyranny as a gesture of defiance to the status quo (lost of civil liberties; unending illegal wars; nation building; destruction of our currency; torture and extraordinary rendition; abuse of civil liberties under the bogus Patriot Act etc.). Party affiliation, national origin, race etc. wasn’t important – all were welcomed – only a love of liberty and a willingness to fight for it and hence among those veterans the movement is rarely regarded as “tea party” but instead the “liberty” or “freedom” movement and it is definitely not GOP or PERRY or Bachmann!!

In 2008 when the “dynamic duo” – McCain and his side kick – Palin got their bloodied grinded behinds handed back to them by Obama. This is exactly what the mainstream media had orchestrated for the previous year – and the rank and file GOP voters predictably bought it – they bought media served “stooge of the day” McCain and side kick hook line and sinker! I invite you to research progressive AP reporter Liz Soldoti’s coverage of McCain 2008 and see how she systematically built him up “straight talk express” to become the GOP front runner – the MSM knowing he was hopeless and would get creamed by Obama! Immediately after the election in an attempt to do damage control the RNC/GOP and right leaning media embraced “tea party” to co-opt the movement for the progressive neo-cons – enter the right media ala FOX and the likes of social controlling neo-con personalities such as Rush Limbaugh; Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity. The left media, MSNBC etc. and their social controlling components: Keith Obermann; Chris Mathews and Rachel Maddow in an effort to maintain and reinforce the phony two party paradigm immediately labeled them racists and nut jobs stressing the “tea party” as against newly elected President Obama primarily because he was black!

Hence: the term “tea party” as currently hyped in the media is a creation of the mainstream media and simply equates to good old American progressive “neo-con”! The concept of “tea party” they propagate is a primary tool currently used to continue the “two party paradigm”. Anyone uninformed enough to buy in is being seriously played and hasn’t taken the effort to analyze the actual facts – just taking the media’s word for it like a good little boy or girl and keeping the “status quo”.

Allow me to go a little Taoist on you – the “real” tea party you hear about is not the “REAL” tea party!

There is no actual socio-economic and political ideological difference between – lets say, MSNBC and FOX – only the illusion of one! Both the (so – called) right and left factions of American mainstream media are all globalists – wanting to maintain American empire with all their corporate owners having direct BOD relationships with the giants in the military industrial complex such as: GE; Texaco; Chevron; Boeing; Lockheed Martin; Citigroup; Rockwell Automation; Chase, WorldCom, and JP Morgan; Halliburton, etc. and thereby financially benefit directly from the ongoing nation building and entrenched foreign occupations.

So the mainstream media as a whole created the current “tea party” as is hyped today, to attempt to contain and control the actual legitimate “liberty movement” (being the actual REAL “tea party” started by Ron Paul supporters in 2007) – it being a threat to the status quo and use the phony “two party paradigm” to help them do it. This is the illusion of two different parties counter balancing one another – please don’t say you can’t remember recently this spring when republican Senator McCain and democrat Senator Kerry went arm in arm bellowing for illegal war with Libya? Do you not find it is strange that Obama never changed Bush/Cheney policies regarding: torture; bailouts; WARS; Patriot Act and lost of civil liberties and abuse of American citizenry. Exactly – both parties want huge intrusive central authority – its just one
side prefers to balloon the size of government with aggressive warfare and less social welfare and vice-versa. Americans are spoon fed the “two party paradigm” as a controlling device through the lame-stream media – that’s why globalist neo-cons like Bachmann and Perry are being hyped as “tea party” and that is why they are desperately trying to co-opt many of Ron Paul’s life-long political
positions on things, such as: auditing the Federal Reserve.

For years have you scratched your head wondering – why are our representatives in DC doing this? Are they trying to destroy America? Unfortunately in a sense – they are. For the globalist in both parties it’s not about gaining a secure and prosperous American Republic – upholding liberty maintaining the supreme law of the land – the U.S. Constitution. It is totally about maintaining an economic empire for a select group of oligarchs using the American military – our blood and treasure! It’s about redistributing American wealth and technology and building “emerging” economies in China and India etc while de-industrializing America! It’s about destroying our education system with federal control so that our young people test dismally against students in the rest of the world in science and math! It’s about defending borders overseas while leaving our southern border in the USA open allowing for abuses of American citizens. We could go on and on about the mistreatment Americans suffer at the hands of a rogue government! However, you and I both know that throughout the process of the dismantling of America, the mainstream media tells you “its okay – remember back in 2008 when they spoon fed us “don’t worry either top tier candidate, Obama or McCain will get us on track”! Yeah right! We know how that worked out!

The media is currently working overtime to convince voters that the candidates like Romney; Bachmann and Perry are significantly different than President Obama – this is definitely pure BS! All the 2012 candidates running in both parties EXCEPT RON PAUL are deep in the pocket of international banking and the military industrial complex! This corrupt system needs to keep bailing out criminals and keep this bogus war on terror going and ramped up bombing and saber rattling all awhile keeping the American people placated with the “two party paradigm” allowing for global elites to steal American national wealth and sovereignty! Ron Paul is the only candidate significantly different than Obama and therefore the ONLY ONE capable of beating him on issues that the majority of Americans heavily support (like ending: illegal wars; torture and illegal detention; abolishing the Patriot Act and Federal Reserve; stopping the abuses of the IRS and TSA and getting us out of NATO and NAFTA etc.)

So, fellow Americans if by now you haven’t acknowledged that Obama is a corporate puppet you are in serious denial or part of the subversion! If you want things to continue under the rule of the global “banksters’ and “tanksters” – maintain the status quo and allowing tyranny to grow under the phony “two party paradigm” – vote for the media’s “top tier”: Obama; Romney; Bachmann; Perry etc., but if want things to truly change and have the assurance that you will have the right to be heard and not
silenced then begin to restore America liberty now and support Ron Paul! He can’t be bought – and the establishment knows it! They must use every means available to attempt to marginalize him – hence the blackout, ridicule and smear! Check your states regulations for rules of primary voting and do whatever it takes (you may have to join the Republican Party) so that you can cast your primary vote for Ron Paul.

    WE WON’T GET FOOLED AGAIN!
    RON PAUL 2012!!!!

Despite all the name-calling and the discrediting, History will know the Truth just as we do.
And History will also which side you were on.
Obama, like Bush, Clinton and Bush Sr before him, are puppets of the World banking system, the Federal Reserve, and most shamelessly of all, The Bilderberg Group.
They have hijacked our liberties for the sake of their New World Order.
The Patriot Act, domestic FEMA-sponsored concentration camps being built as we speak, a new Civilian Army, institution of the Global Bank that will see them take control of all remaining oil-fields and the minerals in Africa. That’s happening RIGHT NOW.
And lest we forget: they were complicit in the murder of 3000 of our compatriots on September 11th, 2001 in order to galvanize us into following their program.
We are awake now. We see now. We see that the freedoms for which our forefathers gave their lives are being taken away by a criminal element that has infiltrated every high-level of our government.
As Patriots, we must face this truth.
    And we must act.
I encourage all of my compatriots not to take my word for it. And not THEIR word for it, but their OWN word for it.
    Educate yourselves.
