Obama-Loving Billionaire Warren Buffet’s Firm Hasn’t Been Paying Its Tax Bill For Years…
Assploding hypocrisy.
(NYP) — This one’s truly, uh. . . rich: Billionaire Warren Buffett says folks like him should have to pay more taxes — but it turns out his firm, Berkshire Hathaway, hasn’t paid what it’s already owed for years.
That’s right: As Americans for Limited Government President Bill Wilson notes, the company openly admits that it owes back taxes since as long ago as 2002.
“We anticipate that we will resolve all adjustments proposed by the US Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) for the 2002 through 2004 tax years. . . within the next 12 months,” the firm’s annual report says.
It also cites outstanding tax issues for 2005 through 2009.
Obvious question: If Buffett really thinks he and his “mega-rich friends” should pay higher taxes, why doesn’t his firm fork over what it already owes under current rates?
Likely answer: He cares more about shilling for President Obama — who’s practically made socking “millionaires and billionaires” his re-election theme song — than about kicking in more himself.
Buffett’s free to back Obama, of course.
And if his firm wants to keep its tax bill low, well, that’s its right, too.
But it would be nice if this “pro-tax-hike” tycoon were a bit more honest about it.
Start, for example, with his grossly disingenuous recent claim that, as he wrote in The New York Times, he paid only 17 percent of his income last year to the government — even as many working stiffs who make far less than him coughed up higher percentages.
Fact is, unlike most other folks, Warren Buffett gets most of his income from dividends and capital gains, which are nominally taxed at 15 percent.

No one who owns a business pays taxes.
It doesn’t matter if you have a little neighborhood grocery store, or 50 huge, massive, super markets. It doesn’t matter if a whole bunch of people own a huge car company, or the New York Yankees. None of these folks pay any taxes.
The customer pays the taxes. All of the taxes.
The customer pays for all of the utility bills. All insurances, like fire, theft, vandalism. The customer pays for all hourly wages, and salaries.
The customer pays for all of the food, clothing, furniture, etc., that the owner might buy for his/her family.
When the government raises taxes, or minimum wage, the owner (s) are not going to take money out of their own pockets, and give this extra dough to the government, or the employees. That would be stupid.
That is why Mr. Buffet isn’t going write out a check to send to the IRS. He’s not stupid. If his taxes goes up, he will simply raise the prices of the things he sells. Or he might lay off some people.
If the Gov. raises the minimum wage, the Yankee owners will up the price of tickets. And beer, pop corn, pizza, etc.
They are not going to take a pay cut. They are not going to fire the butler, or the maid, or the chauffeur. They are not going to trade in their fancy car, or boat, or house.
Even with the little business owner, the price of beans, and carrots, and milk, and butter, etc., at that little market down the street will increase.
So all of this bullshit about millionaires not paying their fare share of taxes, is just that! Bullshit!
All increases in operating cost will be past on to the customers.
No doubt about it.
The customers pay for everything the owners buy. The food the owners eat. The car they drive. The fur coat, the house, the boat, the vacation in Florida. Everything. Including all taxes.
So don’t fall for this outrages demagoguery. The dirty bastards on the Left are full of shit.
And the politicians have planned and set into law these practices so they don’t have to pay taxes. The edges are toward the investments they make. The middle class can’t make those edges because they have no money to invest. You’ll not find a politician in power today who does not MAKE money because of his/her position. They all become millionaires overnight.

Buffet is only calling for “the rich” (code for middle class business people) to pay more taxes, not the “mega-rich” which is what he and George Soros are.
Uh, nearly everyone here is wrong….Buffet isn’t evading taxes. He pays lots and lots of taxes. BH is currently negotiating, as all tax payers can, some prior obligations, and when those negotiations are complete, the tax will be paid.
