Obama Demands Republicans “Get On Board” His Plan For More Stimulus Spending…

All aboard the Failure Express.
Comments & pings are closed.(Politico) — President Obama used a campaign-sounding Labor Day speech to demand that Republicans support the jobs plan he will unveil in a speech on Thursday.
Speaking to workers in Detroit, Obama wouldn’t give specifics about his proposal (he said he “didn’t want to give everything away right here, because I want you all to tune in on Thursday”). But he said that “more than one million unemployed construction workers” could be put to work with his plan.
“We just need Congress to get on board,” Obama said to cheers. “Let’s get America back to work.”
The crowd then began chanting “four more years.”

And of course those 1 million construction workers will all be union labor just like last time because the fed will be in charge of who gets what and their buddies at the SEIU and AFL-CIO will get preferential treatment.
Stimulus II, just another union payoff and not about putting the majority of Americans back to work.
RENT-A-CROWD!
No-one could be That Stupid….. Yep, I guess they could….
Tragic. The end is nigh for the Sane Minority!

Yes Wanna-be Dictator, anything you say Wanna-be Dictator.
Mo money Mo money Mo money. That’s s his economic plan.
Dont forget to taxt tax tax. Do these people who want to tax the hell out of companies know that it will be passed down to the people who collect their paychecks?
“more than one million unemployed construction workers”
My gosh, I am so sick of EVERY freakin’ plan to ever come out of DC regarding jobs….it is almost 99% of the time geared towards CONSTRUCTION WORKERS. What about the rest of us? In my lifetime, the beltway bunch has never designed a plan that puts others to work more than construction people.
Just say no to Obama and tell him to get in line with what I heard on PBS last night talking about Economist Milton Friedman. The phrase I remember was something like If our purpose is to make everyone equal at the expense of freedom we will have neither equality nor freedom. If we purpose to uphold freedom we will have a good measure of both freedom and equality. Y’all investigate, I am just a puny human who is barely able to deal with the urgent issues in my life and family. I have minimal drive left for national and global governmental issue research. The gist of what I got out of the show was regulation is stifling both freedom and equality, not to mention jobs.
The crowd then began chanting “four more years.”
What a bunch of fucken zombies
He did just send crazy Uncle Joe over to China. I wonder if he got Uncle Joe to offer up his bootay to Wen Jiabao pay for this.
We all know what it’s going to be: roads, bridges, highspeed rail. Nothing for the private sector, nothing for actual job growth.
I say that they need to account for where the last union give away went before we let them do another bank breaking union free for all. We need to take to the streets in front of the White House and let them know that it’s our money.
Yep another scheme to get public money to the Unions into which will then go into his campaign. The Chicago Machine at work folks.
“What about the rest of us? In my lifetime, the beltway bunch has never designed a plan that puts others to work more than construction people.”
I’ve always felt the same way. It’s like there’s this sacrosanct aura around construction workers because they’re symbolic of work or something. If that’s your thing, pay somebody to make a poster and hang it in your living room.
What about making it easier to get training for technology jobs? How many IT jobs are out there that aren’t being filled? To get that kind of training, how far into debt do you have to go?
“Yep another scheme to get public money to the Unions into which will then go into his campaign. The Chicago Machine at work folks.”
The political version of mad cow disease. That’s what they were so upset about in Wi with the whole public union/Scott Walker thing, it had little to do with much else.
“Get on board” or he’ll “take you son’s of bitches out”!!!!
Barry, you want to put unemployed construction workers back to work? Deport the illegals who are taking their jobs.
Are we still supposed to pretend that Obama has clothes?
@Noelegy says:
Na, they don’t care about US citizens working just the votes.
The OBAMA EXPRESS is rollong full speed down the tracks theres a casam ahead and the bridge is out heading for disaster
Sounds a little like; “we have to pass it to see what’s in it.” The Congress is supposed to get behind his plan prior to the revealing?? Remember what happened the last time something was passed without looking at it carefully. Besides, his detailed plan, no make that an outline, no make that guidelines speech has not been unveiled. We are supposed to support his plan, given his history, prior to hearing it? No thanks!
I’ve been listening to the Milton Friedman’s ‘Free to Choose’ videos at (http://thedaleygator.wordpress.com/2011/04/15/videos-milton-friedman-free-to-choose-the-power-of-the-market/ ).
In the 6th video he’s talking about public schools and a voucher system, sound familiar?
One comment he made to the President of the American Federation of Teachers caught my attention.
Friedman said, “I have never yet known anybody who has tried to defend a government program who hasn’t said all of its evils come from the fact that it was not big enough.’
It’s amazing how little has changed in 30 years!
I’m sure what ever the president says, it will tie in nicely with the (non violent) Day of Rage on Wall Street 9/17. TideFoundation, SEIU, ACORN (the new one) plus every marxist, socialist and communist organization in the country.
From an article on The Blaze:
Those efforts are being organized by Stephen Lerner, an SEIU board member who reportedly visited the Obama White House at least four times.
The aim, according to Lerner, is to “destabilize the folks that are in power and start to rebuild a movement.”
“How do we bring down the stock market? How do we bring down their bonuses? How do we interfere with their ability to, to be rich?”

I think The One is setting up the entire Republican Caucus for the same treatment he gave Paul Ryan and the Supreme Court in two 0f his earlier performances.
He’s a bully and petty tyrant. Look for him to harass, debase, and belittle the opposition in their own house. I’m sure that is why he has insisted on a joint session of congress as his venue.
John Difool, you are right on the ‘money’ about stimulus 2. P-BO is desperate to rally his brain-dead legions of union replicants, pay-offs to the bag-man Trumpka are the only things members of mob/unions understand.
Government chain gangs coming soon
I sure hope he’s not going to sing the same song about spending more money. Hopefully he’s smarter than that!
