Both Ingraham and Coulter are lawyers and commentators who have never run for office.

I don’t think Palin will pay much attention to them.

Look at the RealClearPolitics average of polls for the Republican nomination. Notice how much better Perry does in the two polls in which Palin isn’t included?

    With Palin he is +6, 8, 6 13, 10, & 11. The two polls without her show Perry up +19 and +15.

She said if a good conservative entered the race and had a chance to win she would stay out. So does she think Perry is a true conservative and is she going to stick by her word? I hope so.

I just can’t find fault with Palin. Pretty much everything she talks about agrees with my views. Unfortunately, if she were to run for President, I think she would be a weak contender.

    Palin In..Palin Out.

I could be happy either way. She really needs to use the pot or gently back away. The Dems are counting on us to eat our own, which is the general rule for conservatives.

Good or bad, the Dems tend to circle the wagons for their side no matter how far out there they are!

  5. Pendog says:

@Hammer Libs: Love her. It sucks but she’d be a strong candidate for conservatives and a hate magnet for everyone else. You know the Left is praying to their moongod that she runs. She can however do a lot of damage to them by keeping a high profile and attacking their stunning hypocrisy on the issues.

Ann has begun to disappoint. she could help herself by separating church and state and see that Christy and Perry are carrying water for islam. (Christy may be fiscally responsible but that isn’t enough and I don’t want a prayer rug in my future, Perry seems to be too much of what we already are trying to rid ourselves of))

Palin’s biggest negative is the elitist (Ann and Laura, Kruathammer, Kristol et all) will undermine her evry single day.

if Palin is “un-electable” it is because of them. imagine what the landscape would look like if they endorsed Palin. …but they wont for the same reasons the left dislike her …she is “we the people”

  8. ThomNJ says:

@Pendog – agreed. I think Palin has a role either way, and I am not tired of her. I’d love to be able to call her Madame President, though.

Both Coulter and Ingraham have been unduly critical of Palin in the past. Constantly nit-picking. Palin is not of the Washington elite and as much as they decry that, they are a part of it.

Whose fault is Palin fatigue? I believe this is a trick of the MSM. If you can’t get rid of her, then talk about her repeatedly until everyone is sick of her. But she’s not putting herself in the spotlight, it’s the media that is shining a spotlight on her every move.

  21. halodoc says:

This screams double standard. Coulter is willing to wait around for a Christie declaration but Palin is treated to the get in or get out already? That’s just wrong.

I happen to believe her greatest asset she brings to the table at this point is king maker. Her success rate of winning endorsements throughout the nation on local, state, and national in the 2010 cycle was off the charts, upwards of 80%. If we lose the presidency in 2012, a possibility (bite my tongue) we can not forget, 4 more years of seasoning for Palin makes her more than gold, it would make her platinum. Same with Allen West. In the mean time we still need to maintain state legislatures and keep the House and ram in more Senators, this last being important for the Supreme Court. Remember they brought us to this “Progressive” brink over several decades while we slept, it is going to take us more than 3 or 4 election cycles to pull us back. We’re in this for the long haul, right? Not instant gratification.

Coulter and Ingrahm are just like the msm loonies who need a ratings boost. They mention Palin in ANY way, positive or negative, and their ratings go up. Both of these women should be ashamed of stabbing Palin in the back over nothing but their own short comings. For those of you who think Palin should make her decision now should remember that it is her life that is involved and not yours. She will decide when it is right for her and her family as well as the status of the announced candidates. It looks like every elite in the Republican party wants Romney and the next level down wants Perry. That leaves we the people to decide whom we want. When and if Palin decides to run or not things will improve in the Republican primary. If she runs she will make these timid posers open up and discuss the things they would like to avoid talking about. If she decides not to run, I will respect her choice, then we as Republicans orconservatives will all lose. She is the only one running from either party with any fire in their belly!

Once again, read Rendez-Vous With Destiny. That’s the kind of crap Reagan had to deal with in 1980.

And Coulter is so hypocritical. She’s a Christie cultist and she has the nerves to criticize those of us who stand by Palin?

Screw her and her Shariah-compliant fat boy.

  24. Lolo says:
    September 7, 2011 at 11:11 am

Ingraham and Coulter are self declared elitists. Every criticism they leveled at Palin can be leveled at them. I too grow tired of having to defend both of them on the blogs and in columns. Palin though, nope not tired. She is for America, and those two ladies are for themselves.

I also find it curious that Coulter keeps touting Christie when little is known about Christie. Yeah he is fiscally responsible…to an extent, and yeah he is a firebrand to the media, but that isn’t enough for the presidency. Both of these ladies are pushing RINO’s.

I expect Palin will run in 2016, and regardless of our bad Barry’s numbers are I think he will be re-elected because so far all of the GOP candidates translate to stay home.

America it is long past time to stop voting the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Cop a clue before it’s too late.

These pundits drip of condescension. Sarah is only a tease to those who don’t want her to run & she has been running brilliantly for the past year for those who are paying attention. When was the last time Coulture or Ingram devoted 20 yrs of their life to executive service as a mayor or governor to their state. Sarah is out there giving her heart & soul. She selflessly & tirelessly campaigned for the 2010 candidates, including Perry & Bachman, turning the House for the GOP & where were these two shrews sitting on their cushy Fox TV cushions…yeah, that’s real substance & heavy lifting.

Today it’s Sarah vs. the ugly Dems, the Obama machine, the complacent GOP establishment, the Pravda-media, the union bosses & pseudo-elitist TV & blog pundits. Think it would be best if these media hungry ladies redeemed their sorry selves by doing their homework, read Palin’s policy posts. speeches & see The Undefeated, & being Sarah’s cheerleader..meaning “we the people” of all shapes & sizes..

  27. sympleton says:

Why Palin is our only true hope of defeating the MSM… oh yeah – and President Zero…

    1. She’s a woman (this is HUGE)
    2. She’s modern, chic and cool. Republicans are way too fuddy duddy to appeal to contemporary voters. They always seem like they’re two generations behind the curve. Dinosaur Republicans think that’s trivial – it’s not.
    3. She understands the MSM in a way that no other candidate does on either side. Truth is, our main enemy / opponent is not Obama – it’s the MSM. She gets this.
    4. Palin has been vetted like no other candidate maybe in the history of candidates. Perry has only just begun the inevitable anal probe that the MSM will conduct on him and every person he’s ever had contact with.
    5. She’s a pop culture icon. Again, you have to remember who the average American voter is. They don’t care about the issues. They just don’t. They care about American Idol and pop culture. Again, Palin gets this.

  28. TheGhostofBelleStarr says:

Ha..I agree with them both, and what Coulter said ” I like Palin and I used to like her because of who her enemies are, but now I’m beginning to dislike her because of her fans”. And these comments here prove the case. How many times has a commenter here been attacked and told they are not a real “conservative” if they don’t agree Sarah is the best candidate and will win if she runs ! You all ARE like Obama swooners or the Ron Paul cultists

    &
I’m not impressed by Politicians whose only claim to being conservative is their fiscal stance, just like I don’t approve of those whose only conservative position is right to life like that Progressive idiot Lyndsey Graham.

The only good he did was take on the unions. These people get their ratings by mentioning Palin. She will run, and she will win. and all these pundits will be put to shame for the hapless brains that they are.

  37. Chaban says:
    September 7, 2011 at 12:23 pm

    @ Sympleton: brilliant!

And let me add that every clear person can see that Sarah Palin IS running for President.

She has been for a while now. Funny that the “experts” don’t see it.

And I love that she’s postponing the official announcement as much as she can. After all, this is better than those idiotic announcements that are usually… announced 1-2 weeks in advance.

“Yeah, so and so will announce next Saturday, blah blah blah…” So in essence announcing the announcement.

I’m just tired of old political theatrics.

Sarah has decided she won’t play by the rules they’ve imposed on us for decades.

    Good for her!

Plus, every candidate that officially announces receives a bump in the polls. So the later she officially announces (hence the closer to the first primaries) the better.

The “blondes” say Sarah Palin hasn’t done the heavy lifting required of a serious candidate?
    Are you f***ing kidding me?
She has done more heavy lifting in the last three years than all the other pretend candidates combined.
Who was it that said Obamacare had “death panels” and put a knife into the heart of that piece of crap legislation? (and took all the heat for it?)
Who was it that went to the first Tea Party Convention and gave a speech praising the Tea Party and smaller, smarter government, bringing all the national TV audience and some legitimacy to the movement when all the right wingers were bitching about the organizer “making money” and deciding not to attend?
Who was it that has gone after Obama continuously from 2008, even during the 2008 election, while the pussy Republicans have said …. “oh, we can’t go there, that’s mean and nasty…. its polarizing…. to be talking about Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, etc.” ?
Who was it that coined “the lame stream media” and went after the liberal, left wing biased media, knocking down the myth that you had to play ball with them which gave at least some of those same Republicans the guts to stop kissing the LSM buttocks and start to push back?
Who was it that gave the people that make up the Tea Party the courage to finally think about going to those town halls and marching and saying like her…. “No, we won’t sit down and shut up” while the Republican Party and its butt kissing pundits all laughed at and smeared the Tea Party?

I can go on, but why bother? If you can’t figure this out because your brain can’t hold a memory longer than two weeks, who cares about you anyway?

Oh, and I get the meaning of “heavy lifting” now as it pertains to Ingraham and Coulter….. you mean the heavy lifting of lobby money from the lobbyist wallets or crony corporate capitalists.
Or the lifting in Coulter and Ingraham’s cases of money from the few thousand people who still continue to buy their books.

Okay… now I understand. Its because Sarah isn’t being bought now for favours later like all the other candidates. She is not playing ball with the rules of the game as established by the Establishment. How terrible she isn’t doing what they want her to do.

P.S. I’ll clue you in to why her supporters are so tough on anyone who says even something slightly negative about her…. because the Republican pussies and right wing pundits abandoned her when she was most heavily under attack in 2008 and 2009. So we have decided to “have her back” so to speak so that it never happens again. EVER.
