Obama’s Job Speech The Lowest Rated Of His Presidency…

It’s almost like people are sick of listening to him.
Comments & pings are closed.(Washington Examiner) — President Obama’s jobs speech represented the lowest ratings he’s received for any address to a joint session of Congress of his presidency.
The speech garnered 31.5 million viewers, according to the website TVbythenumbers, which was slightly lower than his Sept. 2009 health care speech to Congress, which drew 32.1 million viewers and is probably the fairest comparison.
But viewed against other addresses to Congress, it looks worse, and is part of a broader downward trend.
During his first speech to a joint session of Congress in February 2009, Obama drew 52.4 million viewers. His first official State of the Union Address on January 2010 drew 48 million viewers and this year’s SOTU had 42.8 million.

He used an angry, confrontational tone. It was like watching Don Knotts get pissed off. Just doesn’t work.
who wants to listen to the muzzie turd lie?
Boy crying wolf
“It is a crisis of confidence. It is a crisis that strikes at the very heart and soul and spirit of our national will. We can see this crisis in the growing doubt about the meaning of our own lives and in the loss of a unity of purpose for our nation.
The erosion of our confidence in the future is threatening to destroy the social and the political fabric of America.”
- President Jimmy Carter, ‘Malaise’ Speech, July 15, 1979
This guy isnt fed up with destroying the USA.
Whoops!

Hey Obama:
“A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned – this is the sum of good government.” – Thomas Jefferson
Read Jefferson, not Marx.
@gastor: Can it be he was just ahead of his time?
More would have been accomplished whittling a toothpick.
Should read “The erosion of our confidence in the future of a democratic party is threatening to destroy Karl’s vision of a utopia”.
Zerobama gave another campaign speech to his core supporters- labor unions, black liberation theologists and the congresscritter black caucus.
@Pendog
The new IMF chief said almost exactly the same thing recently. What we’re hopefully witnessing is the collapse of a reckless ideology.
Just how many times did Obama use the word “Crisis” yesterday?

SPIEGEL: Ms. Lagarde, the global economy is slowing, markets are volatile and banks have all but ceased lending each other money. Does the situation remind you of 2008 just before the investment bank Lehman Brothers collapsed?
Lagarde: Each moment in history is different from previous situations and it’s wrong to try to draw comparisons. At the International Monetary Fund, we see that there has been, particularly over the summer, A CLEAR CRISIS OF CONFIDENCE that has seriously aggravated the situation. Measures need to be taken to ensure that this vicious circle is broken.
People saw it as a boring summer rerun to be avoided. Zzzzzzz.
Everyone knew what he was going to whine about.
But the Loser in Chief thinks he gave a great speech.
“Pass this bill”, 17 times.
The Bamster has lost his mojo. The collectivist mind-hive is shaken to the core.

Refused to watch the USURPER. And after reviewing the news about it, There was no reason the watch the moron and his repeat of insanity.
Demand away Obama, you’re not my daddy.
I cannot stand the sound of his voice.
I cannot stand the sight of his mug.
I cannot stand the media blurting out his name 10+ times every news break.
And so on …
For Christ’s sake, please God, what does this country have to do to be relieved of this suffering? Eight years of vile Bush hating and we are all suffering for it.
Clarification on my post: I don’t mean Bush is vile, rather, the manner of the hatred expressed towards him.
Why dose he need two mics anyway More ways to lie?
People are tired of seeing and hearing a sociopath lie to them. He’s Jim Jones of The Peoples Temple.

you’re right ,the Bush attacks by the media and entertainment industry were so mean and over the top yet the annionted one gets a free pass……….the speech was a pile of crap that left me fighting with the chidproof cap of an ibuprofren bottle
I was sick of listening to him before it was hip to be sick of listening to him.
1) There was nothing of substance in the speech. It was all platitudes.
2) The platitudes have been heard over and over and over again.
3) The tough guy talk did come across like Don Knotts (good one Jimco!)
4) This was really a campaign speech because Obama doesn’t know ho to plan anything. A “community organizer” is nothing but a paid revolutionary agitator.
Zip, glad to hear this speech is tanking in the polls. You’re the first I’ve seen to cover this.
Obumbler gave a speech??!!??
News to me….
“Why dose he need two mics anyway”
One for each fork of his tongue?
Off topic…
I just finished reading Mark Steyn’s book ‘After America’.
Very good read.
How bad is to have to listen to him over and over again…BAD!
He is the scariest Pres. we have ever had….he is a Muslim and not a good one.
How much more does he have to do to our country before he is impeached????
He doesn’t know how to NOT lie!
ZIP said “It’s almost like people are sick of listening to him.”
I know I am ZIP.
This is fantastic! The JournOList media are going crazy in their praise for the speech and no one but the usual 29% of the population – Leftist crazies – are going for it.

That is EXACTLY right. Unfortunately for SCOAMF, he can’t isolate all of us in the jungle, so we are not entirely dependent on his ever-more-ridiculous lies.

Go easy on the guy! We all know that in the WH bedroom,
Mooch is ALWAYS on top.
WHAT IF THEY GAVE A POLITICAL SPEECH AND NOBODY LISTNED?

I agree. I enjoyed it immensely. Makes you stop and think.
Republicans were wise not to respond to Obama’s ridiculous speech with its twenty+ calls to “pass the bill now” as if he were reciting some hypnotic suggestion.
“In that case, let us wait twenty minutes; when the enemy is making a false movement we must take good care not to interrupt him.” — Napoleon
Reading between the lines, the dick really said, Congress just raised the debt ceiling but there isn’t much headroom so I only have 1/2 a trillion this time to fritter away. So I will transfer all of that money to my base and buy votes for the upcoming elections. As soon as that money is distributed, you can be sure TOTUS and I will be back to raise the debt ceiling again, and scaremongering as usual, we got to raise the dept ceiling or else Social Security and the troops will not be paid, the country will default. And the cycle repeats.
I just vomited a little in my mouth just thinking about having to listen to him again.
Newsflash: America is tired of Obama’s fake hope and miserable change.
