Hillary Clinton: We Need More “Smart Power” In The Fight Against “Violent Extremism”…
They’ve been using (and we have been mocking) the “smart power” catch phrase from the start of Obama’s term and yet I still have absolutely no idea what it means.
(CSM) — Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on Friday marked the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks by calling for the integration of more “smart power” initiatives — more democracy, development, and rule-of-law promotion — into global counterterrorism efforts.
Speaking in New York, which she represented as a US senator at the time of the attacks, Secretary Clinton said that as successful as military actions have been in decimating Al Qaeda, they are not enough — especially in addressing the root causes of terrorism.
Opening her remarks with a reference to what she called “serious” reports of an Al Qaeda plot to hit either New York or Washington on the 9/11 anniversary, Clinton said such plans “should surprise no one” but are “a reminder of the continuing stakes in our struggle against violent extremism.”
Clinton spoke at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, which lost nearly 70 students and alumni in the 9/11 attacks — and which in the aftermath of the events created a master’s program in the study of terrorism.

“Smart Power” – the power to be *smartly PC* and to de-escalate any confrontation by not allowing any confrontation to escalate. This is achieved by giving in at every opportunity, and even *initiating* opportunities in which to give in, to the demands of supremacist Musloids or any other fascists who come along.

Hillary, the root causes of terrorism are the teachings of Islam. But then again the political elitists are already “so smart” that they don’t have to open up the book to read the real truth do they?
You might actually try asking some of us who really pay attention on what is simply obvious to the observant eye.

The explanation is simple enough. They project their own values, beliefs, and levels of *religiosity* onto the Musloids. Therefore, they really believe that adherence to the Koran is barely existant in Islam; that all the *hocus-pocus* religious verses are irrelevant in the *real world*; and every issue is purely socio-economic-political in nature, and is caused by *Western imperialism etc.*, and no Musloid REALLY takes *religion* seriously. At all.

I can help you out here Hillary. The root cause of *Islamic* terrorism is Islam.
I know you don’t want to attach the word Islam to terrorism, but it will help a great deal if you *really* want to stop terrorist attacks. As opposed to a lot of mealy-mouthed appeasement and head-in-the-sand approaches which only serves to encourage them.

In Islam the majority of Muslims do not see jihad as extreme because they see it as their duty to perform it. All Muslims are called to jihad in the Koran, the hadiths and the Syra. You are so right! The Left creates ways to fold to Islamic demands before those demands are even made. They are constantly appeasing Muslim sensitivities which (prior to the Left’s announcements) probably didn’t even exist.
It is interesting to note that the Democratic Party of Hillary Clinton constantly tried to gag Rep. Peter King for his efforts to get some understanding of the threat Islam poses to America’s values.
Hillary like so many politicians is simply to multicultural or politically correct to address the root problems of terrorism. Her Boss cannot even call it what it is for fear of offending Muslims.
