Team Romney Now Claiming He’s The Only “Adult In The Room”…

Hmmm, sounds vaguely familiar.

(Politico) — In an email inviting potential donors to a Mitt Romney fundraiser in Bethesda, Romney adviser and RNC member Ron Kaufman pitches his candidate as the grown-up in the race:

As you know, the primary for the 2012 Republican nomination for president is in full swing now following the Iowa straw poll and changes to the field of candidates. Thru this entire process so far, though, only Governor Romney has proven to be the one candidate viewed as the “adult” in the room, with the necessary fundraising and political networks and operations to win not only the nomination, but the general election, and who also has the set of business, leadership and governing skills and background needed to move our country in the right direction for future generations.

Only if he’s in the room by himself. I hope he grows on me if he’s the nominee, but right now I got no love for Mittens.

Just another oblivious, arrogant, elitist, establishment RINO. Sit down and STFU, Mittens.

If this jackass is nominated, get ready for “fo mo” with Maobama.

I hate the whole notion that we have to be told something like this (“only adult in the room”, “smartest man alive”, “smartest woman alive”).
If they truly possess these qualities, YOU DO NOT NEED TO STATE QUALITY.

The sounds of desperation. He knows that he is losing. He knows that his only support comes from the Liberal side of the Republican Party. Once the Conservative side VOTES, he is toast.

I hope he doesn’t get the nomination. However, if he does, like Sarah says-ABO. anyone but Obama.

It really won’t matter what happens in the general at that point. This statist’s nomination will clearly show that there isn’t the will to save this country (at least via the electoral process). We will officially be rearranging deck chairs at that point.

When Romney wins the nomination, who you a$$ clowns gonna vote for, 0bama?

That’s what I thought. So as some moron said earlier, sit down and STFU.

@Jimmy Seven – who is the ass clown here? Yeah, we’re gonna vote for Obama. First time reading and posting to a blog? I thought so.

The GOP must put forth a candidate that conservatives will vote for. It’s that simple. NOBODY likes Romney, except establishment types – and this next election will be against precisely that type of candidate. Romney is another McCain. Sadly, most people will stay home if he is the candidate.

Yes, ideally, every person eligible to vote will vote and they will vote for ANYBODY running against Obama. That isn’t reality. Most of the people who will vote are going to vote because they like a candidate. Romney is not that candidate.

Now, again, please sit down and STFU. It may help if you put Mitts cock back in your mouth.

Out of the current crop of candidates, I’ll throw my support to Romney as he:

    1. Is not a career politician

    2. Has an improving scorecard as relates to illegal immigration

    3. Is pragmatic

    4. Could easily debate O’bammy

Perry cannot meet any of the above an I’m speaking a conservative Republican living in Texas.
