Turkish PM Met By Cheering Crowd At Cairo Airport, Banners Proclaiming “Egypt And Turkey Will Together Become An Islamic Caliphate”…

Turkey went from staunch secular republic to Islamist hellhole in the blink of an eye.

CAIRO — Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan continued to make threats against Israel on his arrival in Cairo last night, resulting in a rapturous reception by the crowds. He was surrounded by Egyptian supporters after disembarking from his plane at the airport.

Using a prepared amplifier system, Erdoğan spoke to the crowd in Arabic, saying, “Salaam aleikum, Egypt and Turkey are one. Peace to the Egyptian people.”

Erdoğan was received by Egypt’s acting Prime Minister Essam Sharaf and his wife.

The welcoming crowd included many members of the Muslim Brotherhood, which supports Hamas. Supporters along the road into Cairo carried Erdoğan’s picture and shouted, “Egypt and Turkey will together become an Islamic Caliphate”, and “Erdoğan, who angers Israel will liberate Palestine like Saladin.”

On the plus side, Iran is losing influence in the Arab world.

People united only by hatred of an outside party do not generally form stable alliances. I would not be surprised to find Egypt and Turkey at odds soon over which is the baddest, the REAL leader of the Caffilate.

Erdogan reminds me of Argentina’s military leader Galtieri in the lead up to the Falklands War in 1981.

He’s stoking this quasi nationalist-islamist flame to show who the tough guy is.

It will end badly for him.

The problem for Israel is that her closest ally is now led by (let’s face it folks) a muslin sympathizer who has little regard for Jews as human beings. I’ll say it clear so that there’s no confusion:

    Obama is an ant-Semite.

I pray this ends with the people pulling the strings in Turkey coming to their senses, but given the fact that the “Great Hegemon” (the US) is now prostrate as a result of all the “smart power” and “resets” I doubt it will.

No doubt about it: any blood shed will be a result of Barrack Hussein Obama’s
willful encouragement and indulgence of these maniacs.

    @ironbill:

Well said. In the Ubama & co. mindset its all about social justice for their pet palis. This Arab spring has been one big lefty/islamo experiment to manipulate the middle east stage.A lot of people don’t get it but they will, sooner than later.

“Turkey went from staunch secular republic to Islamist hellhole in the blink of an eye.”

Very true. I suppose you could also happen in the cast of an obama vote.

The Arab spring turns out to be a complete Islamic revival. No support from Europe. And Obama in the White House. Things are looking bad for Israel

They did this because they are pussies. Cowards, the lot of them.

@BonelessChuck…….That’s right. And if you’ve read Revelations you’d know that as soon as Turkey got involved with the attack on Isreal that all “HELL” is about to break loose. Get Ready.

“A caliphate? Why, he’s just a raving lunatic! A fear mongering madman!” 92% accuracy rate, and this, SPECIFICALLY, was part of his prediction.
