(NY Post) — Disgraced former Rep. Anthony Weiner did his fellow Democrats no favors yesterday — moving out of his district just as his panicking party struggled to hold on to his endangered congressional seat.
Winer took the last ramining items from his Queens co-op just in time to remind voters why they have to vote today — because he resigned in a sexting scandal that made him a national laughingstock.
Weiner is ditching the neighborhood that sent him to Congress six times, and is renting a three-bedroom apartment on a high-rent Greenwich Village street, sources said.
The two men who want Weiner’s job — Democrat David Weprin and Republican Bob Turner — brought out the big guns on the eve of today’s special election.
Turner, a businessman, campaigned with former Mayor Rudy Giuliani at a Forest Hill LIRR station, while the voices of supporters like Ed Koch and Donald Trump were heard in recorded phone calls to voters.

Paid for by us because he will get his pension for “serving” in the congress.
You know, I can see a small stipend for dependents of congress members if that member should die while in office. Enough to cover medical care and 4 years of college. But when a congresscritter is fired (i.e. loses an election), resigns, or retires, their time is done and any remuneration for that job is over. Just like if I get fired, resign, or retire from my job. (Yes, some jobs provide a pension, which I generally don’t have an issue with if the person contributes to it while working there. Congresscritters don’t.)
Actually I am surprised that there hasn’t been anyone say about Weiner’s Premature Evacuation.
For all of those wanting to be excited because this seat will become a Republican seat….fear the Won…..remember this seat was supposed to be lost due to redistricting….The Won and the Dems will do everything in their power to make the seat go away faster than expected……don’t be surprised if you see it disappear within weeks of the Republicans winning this seat……..

Weiner moves to Greenwich Village. Has anybody thought to notify the local police station? Years ago (during a more conservative and moral period in our country’s history) Weiner would be moving into a half-way house under close supervision after he did time for the crime of exposing himself to complete strangers. It won’t be long before he has a television program, and is sharing his rancid viewpoint with his liberal friends. How many months do you believe it will be before his autobiography is selling in the discount bin at Walmart?
