Dem Rep. Luis Gutierrez Thanks Obama For Bypassing Congress On Immigration And Halting Deportations Of Illegals…

Washington (CNSNews.com) — Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) thanked President Obama for circumventing the Legislative branch when it comes to immigration law.

Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code makes it a federal crime to be in the United States illegally. Nevertheless, the Obama administration in August directed federal immigration officials to use “prosecutorial discretion” in deciding which illegal aliens to detain and deport.

“We had a president of the United States that recently was speaking at National Council of La Raza who said during his speech, ‘There are those who simply wish me to bypass Congress when it comes to immigration,’ and many in the audience clapped, saying, ‘Yup, bypass Congress. . .’” Gutierrez told the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) conference on Monday.

“He (Obama) said, ‘But I can’t bypass Congress,’ and people in the audience said, ‘Yes you can,’ and you want to know something? They were right — he could and he did, and I want to thank the President of the United States, and I want to thank all of those that work at the White House for issuing new guidance when it comes to deportations,” Gutierrez added.

Well this sort of sentiment shouldn’t be unexpected when it comes from someone name Guiterrez…after all, these banana republics that he comes from think nothing in the way of fraudulent behavior…circumventing the government, ignoring the rule of law, and generally acting as if they expect the nation to bend to their ideals. pathetic

Ya would think with unemployment at 16% the gov would force employers to use online verification to see if the person is illegal.

This would send them all packing. I’m tired of the excuse “We dont have the resources to deport them all” If they don’t have work they will deport themselves

We are being sold up shits creek without a paddle for votes

I am watching the destruction of the liberal/progressive ideaology in real time. I earlier wanted it to happen in faster time, but I am completely happy watching it happen in real time. That way I can enjoy the seemingly slow implosion of an idealogy that I hate so freaking much.

For eight years President George W. Bush told us that these people would become future Republicans, because of their growing stake in America’s middle class and their appreciation of the conservative family values that Bush supported. For the eight years before Bush’s two terms, President Bill Clinton did absolutely nothing to secure the border, because he knew that the Democrats needed these future voters in order to stay in power. Both of these presidents left the border open to the largest invasion of illegal aliens in history, so that their parties would not offend the growing Hispanic (mainly Mexican, but also large numbers of illegals from Central America) population. Obama reaped the benefits of the failure of sixteen years of both parties doing the wrong thing for partisan political purposes. The Mexicans and other illegal immigrants are here to stay, and they will alter the economic, legal, and electoral landscape of this country for the next hundred years. As Mexico collapses and evolves into a hopeless basketcase, millions of Mexicans will seek refuge with their relatives in America. What future president will turn them away? Thank you, George W. Bush for not doing anything to secure the borders after 9/11, when it would have been a very popular thing to accomplish.

No, it won’t. 40 years ago when I lived in El Paso, half the Army wives had mexican maids for like $5 a day. Then the word came down they would have to report their wages. 40 years later they still don’t.

Online verification to see if the person is illegal? You want to find out if Jose Hernandez is illegal? Good luck! The US gov’t doesn’t even care if he’s illegal. Wise up! Don’t waste your time! Nobody’s going packing.

Fear tactics for Americans, nothing more. Congress members don’t pay taxes. Stop fearing the IRS. Make up a good story and stick to it. Stop fearing the US gov’t. They can’t even enforce their own, or don’t want to. In fact, if you investigate enough, you’ll find enough damage on your investigators, even local, you can skate. Good country, huh? And right now, congress members are so scared about their jobs, they’re not looking at anybody but themselves. And Obama? Dang, he’s a washout. He’s done, history. And so many around him are “done” also. They’re just worrying about themselves. Don’t worry, be happy. Skate as long as you can, then pay the 25 cents on the dollar they offer you. Or go to welfare to pay your taxes. Your pick.

I have given up on this country and my taxes and my input. It’s all a wash.

There has to be a good reason why the gov wont enforce “e verify” and always blocking states who try to enforce their own immigration law only to have it blocked using the DOJ.

It scares them because it just work and I think it would dramatically reduce the number of illegals.
