(The Hill) — The Senate likely will not take up President Obama’s plan to create jobs until next month following a planned recess period, the No. 2 Democrat in the chamber said Sunday.
Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said the Senate would focus on a number of “related issues” to the $400 billion job-creation legislation this week. But he quickly noted on CNN that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has placed the massive jobs bill “on the calendar.”

IL is beyond bankrupt and Durbin,Quin et al have raided state pension funds,stripped every ounce of cash from IL programs and announced to save the state they will close prisons,specialized living homes and mental hospitals.
Some towns and counties have skeletal police and fire dept.,some have none.Companies fled the high taxes leaving few jobs and Durbin packed the state with illegal immigrants and muslim refugees,all unemployable.
Voter fraud is obvious in many areas.Convicted fraudulent voters even run voting centers (Cahokia) You can vote for Elmo and a Dem will win.
IL is the only state without a conceal and carry law but has an est 4 illegal guns per citizen .Black supremacist crime is rampant but ignored,in 1 case an entire town was told to remain in their homes because blacks blocked main roads and went door to door damaging property and chanting “kill the whites.” (Peoria)
The town of E.St.Louis has 1 of the highest crime rates per capita in the U.S.,white people enter at their own risk.Most of the police,politician,school board etc are convicted felons.
Residents have asked that marshal law be declared or that the government take over the state.
Citizen complaints are ignored by state and government .
It is a giant welfare state with rampant crime,black racism and immigrant hate and drugs.Aka a liberals paradise and a warning to the U.S. what Democrats have in mind for you.
Obama has already moved on to his next crisis, passing the Buffet tax scheme. I wonder if Michael Moore will be able to pass the buffet?
