Obama State Department Refuses To Tell Turkey The U.S. Would Side With Israel If Armed Conflict Breaks Out…
Sorry, Israel, you’re on your own until we toss Obama from the White House.
(CNS News) — As Turkey’s leaders intensify efforts to isolate Israel internationally, the cordial treatment they are receiving from the Obama administration this week will add to concerns some Americans have about the strength of its support for Israel.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton described as “excellent” her talks in New York City on Monday with her Turkish counterpart, Ahmet Davutoglu. President Obama is scheduled to meet with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan there on Tuesday. All are in the city for this week’s U.N. General Assembly sessions.
The Clinton-Davutoglu meeting came a day after the Turkish foreign minister announced that his government had blocked an Israeli attempt to open a liaison office at NATO headquarters in Brussels — the latest in a string of moves aimed at punishing Israel over a deadly commando raid on a Turkish ship carrying pro-Palestinian activists to the Gaza Strip in May 2010.
Erdogan’s Islamist-leaning government earlier this month angrily rejected a U.N. report on the incident that called the Israeli raid “excessive and unreasonable” but also described the attempt to breach Israel’s blockade of the Hamas-ruled territory as “reckless” and concluded that the blockade was a “legitimate security measure.”
Following Monday’s almost hour-long Clinton-Davutoglu meeting, a senior State Department official said on condition of anonymity that the secretary had “encouraged Turkey to keep the door open” on improving the strained relationship with Israel.
But asked whether Clinton had offered any specific ideas in that regard, the official said, “This is something they have to sort out between the two.”
The official rejected suggestions that Washington should make it clear to Turkey that the U.S. would side with Israel in the event of a confrontation.

50 years ago many middle eastern countries were moving into the future and becoming a part of the civilized world. But since they have all regressed back into the cesspools of 7th century ideology. Just lately, Egypy, Libya, and Syria have taken the same course. Now Israel stands as the last bastion of civilization and freedom. Islam is playing the dogpile on Israel game and Obama has turned a blind eye.
This is all planned and preconceived to bring the muslime countries into one large tenet of islam, that control a vast region and vast resourses of oil and wealth.
I read this the other day and it is quite fitting…

Wait…I’m confused. The Obama admin refuses to back Israel, but in a previous post here he was declared to be the first Jewish president?

Technically speaking, Turkey is a NATO country and we would be obliged to support them if hostilities broke out. That is pretty effed up though.
This is just another part of the Muslim-friendly Obama administration.
Give them a few hours, for this news to percolate and they will issue a contrary statement, defending their position, but saying that the relationship with Israel is as “strong as ever”.
They will tout this adminstration as the most “Israel friendly” in history, as they approve the Pali-animals quest for UN-approved statehood.
It seems that the American Jews have finally begun to see through their bullshit lies… maybe.

It’s not that I’m surprised, it’s that I’m simply amazed. Who would have ever imagined that the USA would have gotten this close to Turkey in a conflict with Israel? By being the do nothing president, other than promoting the gay lifestyle in the military and spending this nation into ruin, he has sent a clear message to all Islamic militants that he will allow them to creep closer to Israel for evil intentions Who better to carry this message than the wife of a serial cheating husband, who looks like she’s retaining enough water to supply a small town.
As I told a poster here the other day who was Perry bashing over embassy in Jerusalem, this scenario is far more important.
You, Obama administration, kids can tell yourselves that no one knows what you are doing but it doesn’t make it true. Likewise, you can tell yourselves there is nothing anyone can do about what you are doing but again it doesn’t make it true. It is known what we are all doing and we can only do what we are allowed to do but just because we are allowed to do what we do doesn’t mean that what we do is the best thing to do and it doesn’t mean our decisions won’t cost us everything we value.

Hillary is a slippery as her husband. She is supporting all anti-Israel policies and not being held accountable.
The main issue not addressed in this article is that Davutoglu called for NATO to exclude the new X Radar for Israel. This of course is not acceptable and set off a diplomatic firestorm since it defies US and Western Interests in any way.
The continuous sabre rattling by Erdogan against Israel and other US interests was also an effort to convince Abbas that Turkey has his back on his UN Assembly bid for statehood which would only be symbolic if voted on in the UN Assembly.
Other sabre rattling issues also include the boat blockade by Israel and exploratory gas drilling by Israel.
Israel will have to standalone. The world will understand the greatness of HaShem. When all the world is defeated and Israel is victorious, everyone will understand the glory and the power of HaShem. Like a magician who levitates his model, HaShem is levitating his people the Israelites.
