Hey, Bill, you know what else makes America look like a joke? A sitting president getting a blow job from a chubby intern while in the Oval Office then lying about it under oath.
(Politico) — Bill Clinton turned up the heat on the leading Republican presidential contenders Tuesday, saying their opposition to acknowledging climate change makes the country “look like a joke.”
“If you’re an American, the best thing you can do is to make it politically unacceptable for people to engage in denial” about climate change, the former president said on the first day of the Clinton Global Initiative’s seventh annual meeting in New York City.
“I mean, it makes us — we look like a joke, right? You can’t win the nomination of one of the major parties in the country if you admit that the scientists are right? That disqualifies you from doing it? You could really help us there,” Clinton added.
Kicking off the three-day conference, Clinton called the lack of debate in America on climate change “really tragic.”
“We need the debate in America and every country between people who are a little bit to the right and people who are a little bit to the left about what the best way is to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, what is the best, most economical way to do it, what will get more done quicker,” he said.
Clinton added that it was impossible to make it politically unacceptable to deny climate change unless there is “enough evidence that it’s patently absurd.”

What an idiot. I will say this: I am sick of hearing anyone say “the science is settled” – especially when a so-called scientist makes that statement. Any scientist or engineer KNOWS that no science is truly “settled” – that is a bullshit line used to fool the public, and any scientist using such a line ought to immediately commit hari-kari or something similar.
What I think is a joke is anyone who believes that faulty and fake data can be used selectively to get the desired results on a snapshot of a historical time-line for a theory that is weak at best and uses a computer model that is doesn’t come close to actually predicting anything.

We must trust the science, the scientists, climatologists, the experts and those who know more than us. It’s not WHAT is being said, it’s WHO is saying it! We have seen the signs all around us and change is everywhere and our planet is weak and needs our help to bring it back to life otherwise our children will die a CO2 death. Those who do not see the changes are blind to the truth and the planet will deal with them in its own way. The good politicians who promise to lower the seas and make the planet colder if we pay a tax on the air’s CO2 will help the carbon trading markets (run by corporations and the good politicians), do what’s in our best interests and we must trust them and do as they say or life as we know it will cease.
