As an economist, I’ve been saying the same thing for a while. Obama’s fiscal policies and policy structures don’t add up. There is no question he is trying to create chaos at least; at most, he’s trying to destroy the dollar and the banking system. If Obama continues for another 4 more years, we will most likely end up in financial riots and shortages or worse.
West rocks and if that gets you all butthurt, so be it.

….just noticing comments on here. Not sure how long some of you folks have been on this website, but some time back there had been quite a bit of discussion and banter about that very subject. The questions of why he went along with the debt ceiling. Many here have been dissappointed on that point.

My crush on West has subsided. he’s right on point when it comes to the threat of Islam, but on other conservative issues I’m not so sure.
he’s member of the CBC and he sends letters condemning them and their actions, but in the end he still stands with them.
I’m not fully committed . he’s a politician already.

I appreciate reading your various comments on this website. Thanks. Ya, there is definitely (from my perspective) issues that are spot-on that I agree with. And, then, some not so much.
I guess I go to the West “equation” not so much of seeing him as the perfect candidate, but I tend to think it will take someone with a military background or someone similar in thought to that. Mr. Cain is beginning to raise my eyebrows.
Directly speaking, as yet I feel I really haven’t seen the main contender on the scene. That’s just my opinion. WHO it will be? I have no idea.

Ask a democrat sometime where the Constitution defines the different classes of people that the United States public is made up of.
West is right. Classes don’t exist according to our charter. All class designations in the country were constructed by the left; racial classes, social classes, religious classes, economic classes, labor classes………they are all political fabrications. And every one is based in some part on material envy.
Obama is a community organizer to the core. He separates communities into different interest groups, or ‘classes’, and incites envy between them. Every issue is put into the context of ‘Victim/Oppressor’. There are no individuals in Obama’s world, only different classes of people. And there is no need to respect the individual rights of any person. Individuals don’t exist.
According to our Constitution, individuals are a vital part of our political process. Leftists want to water-down the political influence of individuals by instilling interest groups with political power.

If you destabilize an economy it makes it far more simple to make the populace dependent on the Government. Then they will tell you how great they are and that they are taking care of the people.
His numbers are declining by the day and there is almost no hope that he will be reelected. The question is will the next administration have to work double time to correct the path of destruction?
Or will it be business as usual?
I like Col. West, he is well spoken, does his research and comes down on the right side of the issues, but I do wish he would get his priorities straight. He would have much more influence if he would step outside his “district” loyalties. The Floridians who elected him will be in a much worse position if Bozo, somehow, retains the office. It won’t matter what West does, everything will tank. For Col. West to insist on limiting the scope of his job to representing his district in Florida, is failing to see the scope of the imminent threat to our country.
I say ‘suck it up’ Col. West, the righteous people of your district who elected you, will forgive you if you take a bigger step in the interests of the entire nation. They will also benefit greatly, and you will have done them a greater service than just representing their carrot patch while the farm is lost.
Explain it to your constituents and get your weapons ready and prepare to move out, WE ARE AT WAR WITH THESE AMERICAN MARXISTS AND LIARS!

First of all, that “3/5 thing” was designed from the start to force slave holders to choose between representation in government, and property. The slave holders wanted both. At some point the owners of dairy farms began to inquire as to why their cows couldn’t be counted for legislative representation. The strategy was designed to force the failure of the institution of slavery, by attrition.
Would you rather that slaves be counted as full voters, and ordered by their masters to vote a certain way?
Second of all, women first voted in the Wyoming territory in 1869, and in the Utah territory in 1870. It was the state governments that had things wrong, not the federal government. It is the state governments that decide who is eligible to vote, and who is not. Any failure was the fault of those state governments and is no reflection on our federal system.
