Herman Cain: Black Community “Brainwashed” Into Voting For Dems…

You could interchange Jewish with black and you’d still have a very accurate statement.
Comments & pings are closed.Washington (CNN) — The one African-American running for the GOP presidential nomination said Wednesday the black community was ‘brainwashed’ for traditionally siding with liberal politicians.
“African-Americans have been brainwashed into not being open minded, not even considering a conservative point of view,” Cain said on CNN’s “The Situation Room” in an interview airing Wednesday between 5–7 p.m. ET. “I have received some of that same vitriol simply because I am running for the Republican nomination as a conservative. So it’s just brainwashing and people not being open minded, pure and simple.”
Cain went on to explain that his interactions with African Americans led him to be optimistic about his own chances with the demographic.
“This whole notion that all African-Americans are not going to vote for Obama is not necessarily true,” Cain said.
He continued, “I believe a third [of African-Americans] would vote for me, based on my own anecdotal feedback. Not vote for me because I’m black but because of my policies.”

To quote Morgan Freeman, they have been “institutionalized”.
Right on.
You could exchange ‘gay’ for Jewish or black and still have a very accurate statement.
What a racist this guy is… /
Mr. Cain is my first choice. And screw the pundits who say he cannot be elected. It’s still “We the People”, right?
This man speaks the truth and his mind.
A scary proposition to the left and b. hussiens kabal.
Elaborate on that Cain, go into how they also stole the civil rights movement and use it now to lock the Black American into a lower state of society.
THE DEMOCRATE WAY……KEEP THEM DUMB, KEEP THE CHECK ROLLING IN, GOT A SURE VOTE?…CAIN/GOT MY VOTE
“brainwashed into not being open minded”
Sounds like the progressive agenda.
Sorry – edit*
*IT IS the progressive agenda.
You can’t fix stupid.
You go, Herman!!
Mr Cain, you are a breath of fresh air. Check is in the mail. Again!
Blacks still slaves to the demcRAT party
Can’t wait for the debate between him and Obama.
His biggest hurdle will be getting the MSM to accept that he is a viable candidate. Listening to the MSM, it would seem it is a Romney vs. Obama race already.
This sounds like good news, but in which State would a switch of one third of the Black vote change the Electoral vote?
Maybe Maryland, if the Black population of Baltimore is enough to sway the whole State. That’s one electoral vote.
You could exchange ‘Hispanic’ for Jewish or black and still have a very accurate statement.
Reality check for the Cain fans:

You da man Herman
You are exactly what America needs.
Cain/Rubio 2012
or
Cain/West 2012
or
Cain/Gingrich 2012
or even
Cain/Bolton 2012
And how exactly is this not racist?
White folk, I presume, he would trust to have the ability to make informed decisions for themselves. But blacks are so feebleminded as to be “brainwashed” by politicians.?
Gee, maybe they should not even be given the vote – since the ability to make up your own mind about candidates seems to be a necessary assumption for having a democracy.
And you guys really wonder why you can barely get 10% of the black vote???
I still like the idea of using many of the people we have running right now in a coalition of effort against Obama. We could play to the individual strengths of each person.
No one seems to think that any of them are perfect. So instead of searching for the perfect candidate, let’s build a team. It’s the left that pushes the illusion that a single Charismatic Savior must be everything to everyone. Let’s not accommodate a political structure that clearly doesn’t work.
I can envision a successful government for many of the flawed candidates we have right now. The weaknesses of each one can be balanced with the strengths of another.
- John Bolton is a guy who would make a decent president. He’s intelligent. He’s resourceful. But we NEED his expertise in foreign policy.
- Newt Gingrich is a guy that loves to talk, and he’s good at it. While there have been some reason that i might not personally like the guy, i think he is very capable, and would be invaluable to the Executive inner circle of leadership while we rebuild our nation.
- I think Herman Cain can put together a better solution to our economic situation off the top of his head than Obama’s entire team could make in 30 years of trying.
I think the left is driving this attempt to alienate people from the GOP field. They want to break the opposition into as many parts as possible before election time. Let’s not forget that ‘we the opposition’ all have a common goal; defeat socialism.
I think that the major GOP candidates should get together and coordinate their attacks on the left. They have a rare opportunity to make use of the public narrative.
.
CAIN RISING!

Oh JoeCitizen
You and your associates will wonder what happened to that vote in 2012.
I will vote for Mr. Cain because when you add up his accomplishments in his life—including reaching the top of three unrelated industries: information systems, business management, and banking—Herman Cain may have
the most impressive resume of anyone that has run for the presidency in the last half century.
As people learn more about Cain’s background, they realize just how qualified he is to take the next step.
Color does not play into the election of 2012 my friend. Common sense and a restored faith in Liberty will prevail!
Herman Cain 2012
That the blacks have been brainwashed to think toward the Democrats is the final answer. Correct-o-mundo!
Good to hear it blared public. Ya, it is the understatement of the last few decades.

I believe Mr. Cain can back up his position much better and stronger than you can yours.
Perhaps the simple fact that there are people in this country that believe waiting in line for a $1000 check is somehow “Obama’s money or Obama’s stash” is enough evidence people do NOT have all the facts or information needed to understand and vote wisely.
Herman, you have left the plantation!!!
And I love you for it. Money sent your way last night!!
Cain is Able!!!!
While he is right in what he says about the democrats and blacks.
Until someone can instill family values and a good work ethic into inner city blacks nothing will change with them.
They still think whites owe them a living. I don’t think you can blame that attitude entirely on the demonrats.
Something needs to be done in the inner cities. I honestly have no idea what the solution is.
Cue the “You shouldn’t insult African-American voters by saying they’re too dumb to see the truth!” complaints in 4…3…2…
And I’ll cut those off by saying libs had no problem with saying Tea Party voters were too stupid to see their “truths” and brainwashed into voting for the GOP in 2010. Thanks for giving us 63 seats in the House and 7 in the Senate, by the way.
Here’s the major difference: Herman Cain is actually right. AA voters have nearly voted themselves right out of existence following the Democrats and the government plantation mentality. They’ve been following the Democrat party since the civil rights movement. Exactly what has that accomplished for the Black community other than crippling unemployment, a crumbling society being destroyed by abortion and welfare, ghetto neighborhoods left to rot in city after city and prisons stuffed to the gills with young black men from fatherless families?
When it comes to running businesses and economics there is no one on the GOP trail that has as much experience as Herman Cain. Every venture he has participated he has turned into a success. Take a look at his bio or his wikipedia read and I think you will be impressed.
Cain is the man who went head to head with President Bill Clinton at a 1994 townhall meeting dealing with Hillarycare, Clinton ended up being on the defensive through the whole exchange.

President Herman Cain.
That story is so short sided and offensive. Does he realize that he is calling “black people” stupid and uneducated and lazy by implying that we are incapable of listening to the facts and making an intelligent decision. WTH. There is always one that they keep around (Herman Cain) to spew comments like this so that other races sit back and listen to this fool and validate their stupid racist ideas about a group of people that build this country from the ground up. Where are his Uncle Tom shoes so he can finish “stepping and fetching”. Idiot
…and by the way, in my mind, by calling ourselves African-American we are never “American”. We insult the freedoms that MLK died for calling ourselves African American. It makes us constantly remind white people that we should be treated different which leads to unequal. Mr. Herman Cain should understand that.

This is the true face of the Democrat Party. It hasn’t changed–they would still have us be slaves and be beholden to government handouts- forever.
Herman Cain is a plan in action that the Framers envisioned. They did not intend for their to be career politicians. Never.
I hope Herman also starts preaching term limits for Congress. It needs to happen. If it’s good enough for the executive, it’s good enough for the legislature.
Wow, Pamela, I didn’t think you’d go there but you did. Racist, ignorant, and offensive, all wrapped up in one little neat argument explaining why you for Democrat.
The leftist point of view –
If you don’t vote for Obama you’re a racist.
If you vote for Cain you’re a racist.
Face it, the leftist viewpoint is insane.
No more brainwashed than the neo-cons who would vote for Cain.
To Pamela and JoeCitizen:
– Brainwashing is when you OVERRIDE the normal thinking (presumably logical or natural) of a person, into some other way of thinking/behaving that they would not otherwise do, or that is bad for them.
– “Sheep”, or “stupid and uneducated and lazy”(your words) are people for whom no brainwashing is necessary, because they are so easily misled.
I will leave it to your own self evaluation as to which category you belong to.
I prefer to believe that many Blacks can overcome the Liberal and Media brainwashing, and vote for the candidate who is NOT keeping them in a state of poverty intentionally.
Do blacks also realize that it was a Liberal Demonrat that pushed for abortion so as to control and even eliminate the black population? Of course not…
The only thing I fear with Mr Cain’s economic plan, after he is gone and another nut like obama gets in the sales tax will skyrocket.
It needs to be written into the law that if it goes up payroll goes down the same percentage. If it goes higher than the payrol tax %, then the payroll tax will get prebated to compensate. Anything else will eventually be 100/100/100 plan.
That is the reason Fair Tax works, they can’t bring back the high rates.
Plus the fear of pelosi and reid hanging him and blaming the tea party, history shows the dems will murder to get there way. Just ask any LAC in the chocolate city of new orleans.
Pamela – How would you explain 95% support of a president because he is black, and not even care he is destroying the country. Remember he fired a black women for nothing because he thought it would make him look good.
Then back peddled like crazy when it comes out he misrepresented her position.
Maybe it is he brakes so many laws he must be “one of you”.
I don’t care what color an incompitant buffoon is, I won’t vote for them.
Herman Cain may be wrong sometimes, but is not afraid to ask, and learn. Much better than the libs on both sides who must be right and damn the consequences if facts prove otherwise.
