Poll: Only 38% Of Independents Think Obama Deserves To Be Reelected…
These people are obviously racists.
(IBD) — President Obama faces head winds from independents, an important voting bloc for re-election in 2012. Many of them think well of him personally, but they are disenchanted. They don’t like his policies, and they see him as inexperienced.
And most daunting of all for the incumbent, only 38% of independents think he deserves to be re-elected, with 53% feeling that someone new deserves a chance.
These are key findings from an IBD/TIPP poll conducted in early September.
Independents are particularly harsh in their view of the president’s economic stewardship. Job losses have hurt independent households, and jobs will be their primary concern when they pull the lever in 2012.

Looks like there are still some people who can be fooled all of the time.
Madjack, if you look at the election results from 1980 when the economy was really horrible after four years of Democrat ideas, you’ll see that Carter still pulled 41% – even with John Anderson running as a third party.
Again, 1984 – the economy is roaring back. The media goes into hyperdrive to stop Reagan and Mondale gets 40%.
1988 – Dukakis gets 40%. With a very good economy after eight years of Reaganomics working fairly well.
So you can expect a certain number of people to vote solid Democrat no matter what happens.
However, things are SO bad right now – with over a year to go – I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama pulls under 40%.
38-40%, hmmm. Seems we have a terminal case of abject stupidity in this country. I don’t have to speculate on what people inhabit those statistics, do you? I feel very sure those percentages are comprised of the following:
1) All the welfare recipients
2) Damn near all of Hollywood
3) All the billionaires of this country
4) Damn near all of Wall Street
5) All unions
6) The goat smelling hippies (Greenies, Anarchists, etc)
7) Damn near all educators (primary, secondary and colleges)
