Flavor of the Week Herman Cain: “Substance, that’s the difference. I got the substance. I’m the Black Walnut. It lasts longer than a week.”

Love this man.

We have 6 black walnut trees on our property, and they are the strongest, tallest trees around. They`ve been around forever – just like Herman Cain I hope.
It was a good interview last night – although at one point Jay acted like he couldn`t care less.

And that is why we are seeing liberal heads everywhere exploding!
    Herman is the real deal.

    Signed,
    Honky for Herman

Herman Cain is the real deal and perhaps our last best chance to reverse the disastrous direction the liberal loons have forced upon us.

    Cain/Rubio 2012. Unbeatable.

Cain/Rubio would indeed be a power packed ticket! This cracker is a huge Herman Cain fan. I can’t wait to see how he gives the lefties ulcers come election time should he get the nomination.

I agree – a Cain/Rubio ticket would be unbeatable AND good for our country. Love those guys!

God bless America, our troops, Israel, and fellow humans.

Of those running I would not mind a Cain/? Ticket although I want someone strong on border security and creeping islam, and he’s not. I want Bolton in the mix somewhere. Maybe a Cain/Palin or Palin/West or Palin/DeMint. No Christie. We have talent out there – Bolton, Ryan, Guiliani, even Gingrich (I’m for anyone who is willing to put in writing what he promises.) Why does the Republican party always manage to “snatch defeat from the jaws of victory”? I stole that one from Ann Coulter.

    Dear Mr. Cain,

Nice that you cuddle with the lamestream media that will bite you back as soon as your chances to get closer to a GOP nomination. Keep lashing at Palin because that’s how the lamestream media wants you to be: A puppet.

Good luck and wish you lots of success.

Actually there was a “herman cain” equivilant – Ret. Major General Curry running 3 years ago but never had the money/backing/media coverage:

Anyone ever hear of Jerry Curry? This from 2008.

    Jerry Curry’s Summary
Why I Am Running For President

I, Jerry Ralph Curry, am running for President because I am convinced that no current candidate—of either party—can successfully lead our nation through the uncommon dangers we face, can preserve our liberties and can secure our borders. Make no mistake; we are fighting for national survival and for the future of western civilization.

I enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Private, became an infantryman and worked my way up through the ranks retiring as a Major General. Along the way, I earned three college degrees by attending night school.

As a General I am trained to lead, not to politic; to protect and defend our country, not to equivocate; to make decisions, and not to delegate them. Generals lead where politicians hesitate to tread. If the American people want a politician as President, I am not their man. I am their man if they are looking for a proven leader.

This man has it all – education, patriotism, military experiance, strong Christian faith but unfortunately not well known.

Disclaimer: I do not personally know this man, having only read his biography.

While I like what Herman Cain has to say, there is one thing that frightens me.
    He is black.
While not ever black person put the color of thier skin ahead of everything else, I sometimes wonder if he has the capability to put race on the back burner and tackle our most pressing issues.
I am hoping that he has the capability to treat all Americans equally and not create more programs that alienate white men. As of now, I can forget any federal job.
Not trying to troll. Just a concern that I have.

Ok for Cain, but Rubio &/or Jindal for a running mate will cause Cain to lose & will immediately alienate a huge chunk of anti-ineligibility voters (all parties) who have not gone away — we are quiet now, b/c of media & blogosphere complicity (though there is a “Birthers Summit” in March). Why violate the Constitution by picking ineligible candidates when other choices are around. Rubio & Jindal qualify for other positions, but not for President or VP.

Oh please, Leno asking him about why he objects to mooslums was too much for me. And I wish there was someone who would just come out and say “Do you know what an evil man moehammy was, do you know that there is not one free pisslamic country on this planet, do you know that it is a supremacist ideology, do you know that their unholy book says to kill YOU over and over again?”

But Cain backpedaled, and said he meant “jihadists,” which I guess means he’s okay with this hateful ideology that has as its leader a raping, murdering, lying, theiving, child molesting, psychopathic sadist.

Fuck Jay Leno and his equally dhimmi wife.

    Canis I hear ya.
I think Cain is awesome, but I think if he is SMART he will come right out and deal with this concern white voters have, directly. Put them at ease.

He should come right out in the open and say “Im NOT going to use the color of my own skin when making decisions, nor will I call police officers stupid based on the color of my skin. Race nor color nor creed has a place in government, Im here to follow the Constitution and lead the people of the United States to prosperity.”

Something along those lines. He might have said this already, I dont know. I just havent heard it myself.

    Herman Cain 2012.

I got to admit this guy is pretty cool. He seems like a real guy. he doesn’t throw the race card around ever which to me is a big plus. He doesn’t try to divide. I didn’t give him a chance earlier but he’s a fighter and a hard guy not to pay attention to. A hard guy not to like. I’m not to sure about the 999 thing until I read more about it.

We can only hope hes the real deal . I don’t trust the Republican rino elites . Their no different than the socialist lizard tongues . They will try to sabotage his campaign any way they can . MR. CAIN needs to stay focused on obama and not argue with those other chumps . The majority of Americans are wide awake and no longer gullible to these self serving liars on both sides of the isle . I am cautiously optimistic MR. CAIN , the HERMINATOR can whup some liberal and rino asses .

DG – Palin’s comment has been taken out of context by the media as usual. She did not denigrate Caine by saying he was the “flavor of the week”. While on the Greta Van Sustern show she talked about how his words and experience as a working American resonated with the grassroots. She then went on to suggest that it took the straw poll in Florida to make him “flavor of the week” for the media, when in reality it was his qualities as an American which made him appealing to voters.

As usual, lamestream media doing all they can do to MISrepresent and MISconstrue and flat out MISquote anything Palin says. That she made a great point for why Americans like Caine was totally ignored.
