Obama Declares War On Eric Cantor…

President Obama has just released excerpts from his forthcoming speech today in Mesquite, Texas:
“Yesterday, the Republican Majority Leader in Congress, Eric Cantor, said that right now, he won’t even let the jobs bill have a vote in the House of Representatives. He won’t even give it a vote.
Well I’d like Mr. Cantor to come down here to Dallas and explain what in this jobs bill he doesn’t believe in. Does he not believe in rebuilding America’s roads and bridges? Does he not believe in tax breaks for small businesses, or efforts to help veterans?
Mr. Cantor should come down to Dallas, look Kim Russell in the eye, and tell her why she doesn’t deserve to get a paycheck again. Come tell her students why they don’t deserve to have their teacher back.

As soon as I saw Cantor’s statement yesterday on this, I thought to myself:
“Well, perfect… you’ve given Obama his soundbite for the next year.”
Took him less than 12 hours to start using it.
Don’t discount Cain… He is very straightforward in his answers, has a record of success AND O’bammy won’t be able to play the race card.

Chris W is right. Repubs need to fight back hard and hit him with the facts. Keep hitting and hitting and hitting until he gets the message that the conservatives in congress will not be bullied by a little napolean. We know the allure of Chris Christie is his plain-spokeness with the truth and his approach to unions. Same for Walker who has managed to turn WI around and create a surplus.

More to the point, what’s he doing in MESQUITE? I haven’t heard of the community college he’s appearing at, but I can make a pretty safe guess as to the ethnicity of its student body. Obammy only appears in places where he is guaranteed a soft landing and a warm welcome.
P.S. So glad I do not live or work anywhere near Mesquite. When I heard that POUTUS was coming to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, my exact words were, “Oh, shit.”
