New Poll Finds Herman Cain Beating Obama 43% to 41%…

Raising Cain.

Via NRO’s Jim Geraghty:

I’m not terribly familiar with this firm, Poll Position, and they’re using automated voice survey techology (robo-pollsters, like Rasmussen) but their new survey result is worth mentioning because of the tidal shift it might represent: Herman Cain beating Barack Obama in a head-to-head matchup.

Yes, that Herman Cain, the widely-liked former pizza executive who most folks didn’t take seriously because he had never been elected to any public office before.

They find Cain with 43.3 percent and Obama with 41.3 percent. In their results, Cain takes 24 percent of the African-American vote.

God bless Cain for stirring the pot. Nobody else is that’s running….and if they don’t pick up speed soon he’s going to leave them in a simmering pot wondering what happened.

This is the beginning of the end. If Cain is already getting 24% of the Black vote, that advatage, so long the property of the Dems, is fading.

Along with the poll on Drudge:
    http://www.investors.com/NewsAndAnalysis/Article/587521/201110100805/51-Dont-Want-Second-Term-For-President-Obama.htm

…it won’t be long before the Dems realize that they have a loser.

Once they understand that the Presidency AND the Senate are falling through their fingers, it won’t be long before they dump Barry.

I don’t see why his lack of political experience should matter. It didn’t stop a whole lot of people from voting for the current resident at 1600 PA Ave.

And anyone who has successfully run a major corporation has survived in a snake pit far worse than what DC can reproduce.

It looks like everyone better start Raising Cain or the Republican establishment is going to cram Mittens (Willard) down our throats, whether we like it or not. Mittens is better than barry, but I think our great country will still go down the toilet if we get stuck with Willard.

PS I don’t think Willard looks at all “presidential.” I think he looks like a panty waist.

Being the resident ‘paulbot’ of Weasel Zippers, I am happy to see Cain doing well. Anything to get rid of RINO repubs like Perry or Romney. While I don’t agree with everything Cain says, I respect his honesty and experience and could easily be convinced to vote for him, if he gets the nomination.

  16. Redwine says:
    October 10, 2011 at 12:29 pm

While I don’t believe that Comrade Barry would get 41% on any poll against a GOP candidate, I’m happy to see Cain pull ahead. I hope he can stay on top. He’s learned not to shrink from speaking out and sticking to his guns. He’s by far the best of a mediocre lot. It’s difficult to believe that so few dedicated conservatives answered the call to restore our precious constitutional republic, and those who are, are unable to formulate a winning strategy.

41% are still going to vote for Obama. The WORST president ever and he still has a shot at being reelected. Unfreaking believable.

Cain, who threw an innocent man under the “racist” bus because of a rock.

Cain, who fumbled “right of return” – didn’t even know what it was.

Cain, whose tax plan is said (by conservatives) to likely raise taxes on nearly 70% of Americans.

Cain whose plan for the border is what…a “Great Wall of China”? He was kidding, right?

Cain, who has more of a problem with a popular program offering an illegal kid an affordable price to learn how to fix a car while working his way toward residency than he does with the horrific Massachusetts health insurance mandate.

    Wow. We’re really doing this?

  20. Extirpates says:

    It depends…

He is leading the “Moron from Mass” by 20 points,
Cain received 46% to “Obama’s” 44 percent with 3.5 error,
So the actual results may be Cain 49.5%, “O” 40.5% within the margin of error.

    CAIN 2012

Those of you rejecting the good to pursue the perfect better wake up either to the fact your own preference’s faults are greater or that your own preference is not perfect. No one is. Mr. Cain speaks honestly. Think about that a minute.

He is what this country needs. He can and will win. Then he will work with a republican controlled house and senate.
Make this happen. For your country.

I wholeheartedly agree. Cain is doing well because he’s a real American who believes in this country. He’s an example of what hard, honest work can do for an individual and the Nation.

Here are 3 totally critical associations that people need to wake up to before voting for Herman Cain…for starters…

    1. Cain: Former Federal Reserve Chairman – between 1992-1996.

    2. Cain: Member of Security and Peace Partnership – North American Union

    3. Cain: Lobbyist: CEO of the National Restaurant Association PAC

This ‘rock’ talk is less than a tempest in a teapot. Right now Cain is the pick of the litter. Don’t like his gig with the Fed. Not sure what to think about his friendship with Romney. Will we see a Romney/Cain ticket, or Cain/Romney? Hmmm.

  28. Ripped says:
    October 10, 2011 at 1:38 pm

Jeez the republicans could run a banana against 0bama and win, that doesn’t mean we should nominate one. Why waste this opportunity backing another Neo-Con, former fed reserve chairman so we can get 4 more years of the same old shit. WTF is wrong with you people, 2 weeks ago you were running around singing Rick Perry’s praises. Wake the fuck up and back a true conservative with a consistent record.

Herman Cain is NO conservative. He is NO Tea Party candidate. He is an establishment Republican In Name Only. His positions on past issues are all we need to know that a Herman Cain presidency would not shrink the size of government, increase your liberties, or return America to its Constitution.

    1. Herman Cain supported the TARP bailouts.

    2. Herman Cain enthusiastically endorsed Mitt Romney for President in 2008. I know most of you could care less from 0bama lite.

    3. Herman Cain opposes an audit of the Federal Reserve.

We can’t afford any candidate that has big-government baggage at this point…

I like Cain a lot, but am confused as to why he seemingly despises Perry but gives Romney a pass? If he’s sucking up to be on romneycare’s presidential ticket then I don’t like him at all.
I want to know how he can NOT attack Romney, a worthless career politician who gave us the blue print for obamacare…
