   I have no tolerance at all for idiots that think Che Guevara was some kind of hero. The man was a cold blooded red handed monster that killed men, women, children and little dogs without thought, consideration or hesitation and hid behind pretty words. I’m told by folk who just got back from there that Cuban people treasure gifts of soap or toilet paper the most because they have neither…………………think about it.

    I think most people would agree that this statement is a rational justification for the violence used in a revolution ( even if they didn’t agree with the aims of the revolutionaries. But this person said it was OK for Che to kill political prisoners (people the new government perceived to be enemies) and protesters (people who showed they did not agree with everything the new government is doing). I believe most people would consider that murder.

    Just wow – sad to say that I’m frequently surprised at this type of comment.
    A doctor friend told me that the doctors are basically “sold” into servitude in countries that are friendly to Cuba. Their education and skills are “distributed” at the whim of the state. How is that fair – these doctors worked hard for their education, regardless of who paid for it. (I’m really tired of the “taxpayer dollars paid for it so taxpayers own it” line.) These doctors have no right to their own brain – yeah – Cuba – what a great system.

    Apparently this guy’s history lessons ended in 1959 as well. All the burned villages and murdered peasants in South America killed by Che and his merry band of mercenaries apparently went down the memory hole as well as all the folks tortured and/or exectuted by him in Cuba.

    Most Americans only know what they’ve been taught by our history teachers. Our state department screwed up when they did nothing to stop Castro and Che and they later realized it. You can see the transcripts on the Latin American Website of Dr. Delacova. It’s basically our congressmen asking our ex and then current American Ambassadors, what went wrong and how did Castro come into power. Herb Matthews story also attributed to American sentiment changing to being in favor of Castro and Che. Batista knew well in advance that he was no longer backed or supported by the US, so he basically knew his days were numbered when he discovered that. And as most of you know, it was the wealthy Cubans that supported Castro, and realized that they made a grave mistake, when Castro nationalized not only American properties, but their properties as well. It was a big cluster and now most Americans only know the fairytail that our government wants them to know.
